when Credit card debt is higher than anytime in history, and it's not because people are taking luxury vacations.  They are using their cards to buy groceries and other necessities of life because Biden's inflation shot that bottom out of the value of their purchasing power.  Lower Middle-income families ($45,000 to $70,000) are struggling to keep food on the table and their bills paid.

This is the inflation vs wages comparison graph, most recent I could find.  Note that between about April '21 and April '23 the red area represents value stolen from the average wage earner.  During those two years his or her income did not keep up with prices.  The green area begins around April '23.  The area of the green to date is less than then area under the red.  Meaning that while wages are recovering, the average wage earner is STILL behind.  Three years in and the American wage earner has been robbed of that value.  Not even a break-even yet, let alone getting ahead.

Forget Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative -- inflation steals money from wage earners.  Pre April '21 wages stayed ahead of inflation, but inflation was still, mostly, stealing part of the value of their earnings.

The high inflation starting in April '21 was due to huge deficit spending.  It's simply a tax on people through hidden means.  Government programs are paid for by the wage earners one way or another.  Deficit spending does not pull wealth from thin air.  It steals it out of the pockets of wage earners as sure as night and day.

We can hope that the green area on the right will eventually exceed the red area.  But that's not yet a given.  Especially if the Fed decides to inflate again in time to benefit the incumbents election.  Which would once again be stealing from the poor out the back door.

You posted the post I’m replying to on 1/28/2024 at 11:25pm EST which is 1/28/2024 at 6:25pm Tahiti time (about 10-15 minutes before sunset) and  is in the same time zone as Bora Bora.

Good thing he's being protected by TER, who are the ones who pulled on of my replies to him for being "negative, slanderous and trouble-making." Then two more of them were taken down because of "the removal of the thread."

I am pretty sure that time stamps depend on the time zone setting of the account holder (poster). I have been known to change my time zone every now and then to throw off people who like to track such things. When I check the time stamps quoted by follow, I get DIFFERENT readings.

The time stamps are in the format "mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss xM" (x = A or P) and there is NEVER any indication of time zone ("mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM EST"). I have no idea where f-m is getting the time zone data ... other than by ASSUMING it.

When someone else sees "12:34:56 PM", I might see "6:34:56 PM", with the same mm:ss values but differing in the hh hour (time zone) offsets.

I have asked in the past if TER synchronizes all posts to the "central" TER server clock time (time zero = TER-Mean-Time instead of GMT Greenwich Mean Time). I think the answer was/is NO, they do not. I also asked if the time stamp is SUBMISSION time or POSTING time and I think the answer was submission time. (Some posts go into the moderation queue upone submission at hh:mm:ss and get delayed. When they posted hours later at HH:MM:SS, the timestamp is the submission time hh:mm:ss and not the posting time HH:MM:SS.)

Sometimes I check will a timestamp on my own post and see "proof" that the timestamp is NOT the actual local time of my posting. " "mm/dd/yyyy 2:34:56 PM"??? Impossible! I was in a meeting at that time on that day. ... That'll throw them off!"

Just for the record, however, my posts here all go up immediately so the submission time and the posting time should be the same.
