1/2 of the country voted against you. Ass kicked? Wishful thinking.

You guys won because 1) a lot of Evangilicals came out to vote against gay marriage and 2) They smeared Kerry so baddly with the swifvets they made him look worse than Bush. You did not win on foriend policy OR domestic policy (except gay marriage).

we also picked up seats in the House and Senate. Pretty much undeard of for a presinetial election year with an incumbent.

I find it funny the left keeps bitching about how we won because citizens ACTUALLY voted!!!

People voted yes. Many voted came out to vote against gay marriage. Those people also voted for Republicans in the House and Senate.

Net, net bottom line: You won by appealing to some peoples bigoted ferver and others ingorance of the truth about Iraq and John Kerry (and yes, that is also John Kerry's falt too) and other people's greed.

So it is not like you won because you guys are doing such a stellar job and anything. You won by preying on bigotry, ignorance and greed. I would not be so proud of it if I were you.

It couldn't be the the fact of where the left stands on the issues, it couldn't be because Kerry was a VERY WEAK candidate.

NO!!!!
It must be that the majority of Americans are stupid and prejudice!!

And these guys can't figure out why they can't win elections, just AMAZING!!!

I would say the many people who voted, voted against judges legislating from the bench and in favor of the appointment of conservative judges. If the liberals hadn't been able to appoint judges so willing to interceed in the legislative process, there wouldn't have been the need to vote against gay marriage, would there? Hey snowman, this is classic how liberals don't recognize or acknowledge their own problems. They have to blame others for their failures!!

The RepubliCONs used 9/11/2001 as a political tool to instill fear in the American psyche.  They made almost everyone believe that no matter where you went, you were going to be attacked:  at the store; at the mall; at McDonald's; while visiting your favorite provider.  No place in the U.S. was now safe.  In addition, terrorism became priority #1, when it wasn't a priority of any kind before.  Before the election, I couldn't believe how many people felt the fear of a terrorist attack was their #1 concern, when there was so much other crap to be concerned about, such as a rotten economy, job losses, and record budget deficits.  That "fear" was a key factor in extending Shrub's theft of office.  There's no doubt in my mind they will continue to use 9/11/2001 through Election Day 2008.

The equation should read:

9/11/2001 + X + $$$,$$$,$$$,$$$.$$ = SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

This is the Shrub/GOP "fuzzy math".

Bush and kerry are masons, masonory is a predominantly jewish organization about obtaining a one world government. They don't care about a rotten economy or record deficits, they only care about breaking America down after they're through with their war efforts. Why do think bush has done nothing to stop the 5000 illegal mexicans from entering the country daily when 90% of the republican party is against immigration??

You are right Kerry was a weak candidate. That was not what we were talking about. You said we got our asses kicked. I was pointing out the fact that Bush won by the narrowest margin of any president in history except for 2000 (where he actually lost the popular vote). Bush did not win on the issues our on his performance. He won because Karl Rove knows how to motivate people to get out to vote on issues like gay marriage and tax cuts for the wealthy and confusing people who are not so well informed about Iraq and WMDs and smearing John Kerry. Kerry was on weak side that's for sure. But so was Bush. If he had not been the incumbent Kerry would have looked better, flaws and all. That is what happened and I think you know it even though you talk a good game.

Question for you: Why do you constantly shift the discussion on your responses then slam others on the new discussion you just shifted it to as if we were talking about your newly created discussion all along? That is kinda slimy, bro.

Just telling it like it is... I guess you would prefer me to lie or make shit up...Some people are so dense!! Cute comment though answer...It was far from original...

case in point, your previous post.

You automatically say Bush won because Karl Rove is more effective and that the Republicans motivated homophobes to win the election. Did it not occur to you that PERHAPS people back the President on the war on terror. PERHAPS people perfer a government that taxes its citizens less. PERHAPS the people DO WANT choice in Social Security. PERHAPS people favor a President who will act in the best interest in the United States and not require UN approval to take action.

I will not debate a fact that I believe to be false, instead I will counter with facts I believe to be true.

Post something factual for a change, and I'm there, otherwise I'm not wasting my time...

And I'm quite proud to say I WAS NOT one of the 59 million plus dumbfucks who voted to prolong Shrub's theft of office; and I DID NOT watch Dumbya spread the fertilizer he called his inauguration speech; and I DID NOT watch him lie with his hand upon the Bible as he was sworn into office, just as he did in 2001 after the 2000 election fiasco (not to mention all his "accomplishments" during his first four years).

If Shrub continues to "faithfully execute" the office of President the same way he did his first four years, he should be executed.
