His statement in and of itself is enormously racist but I suspect his blatant Hypocrisy is lost on his audience. I take it you won’t be voting for him next time around.
Let's see who he is running against first, or even if he is even running again at all. Who becomes or remains Lt Governor is not usually the top of the things I worry about in an election.
My choices in Texas often come down to a Thumper I don't like and an Idiot that I can't vote for. Kind of like my choice between Beto, the fake Latino ORourke or bible thumping Ted Cruz, the choice was easy, I voted for Cruz.
I do have my limits however, I could NEVER bring myself to vote for Rick Perry, that was a bridge too far for me.
