And the Wisconsin recall effort already claims one Republican.

Wisconsin Dems say that they have already collected enough signatures recall Wisconsin state Republican Dan Kapanke, and they've got them in 30 days early.

Do you know how the recall process functions? Once the recall petition reaches the required number of signatures there must still be a recall election involving the general population of voters in the respective district.

Lets face it, most if not all of us are biased, and Inicky is no exception. I guess he expects Snow to have to play by different rules than him. lol

I am making no predictions myself where it comes to these recall elections in the state of Wisconsin, expect to say that actually getting someone thrown out of office is a lot harder that getting a few names on a petitiion. Of course my bet with Pri still stands, but despite WW's usual mischaracterazation of the facts, My bet with Pri is whether or not the Governor survives to carry out his term, not if the Dems can simply get a recall election.

My guess is he does know how the process works, but does not want to admit that is only 1 step in the process.

If you really want to know about Willy's credibility when it comes to citing things from the Internet...

ASK HIM ABOUT THE RESTAURANT OWNER WHO REFUSED TO SERVE GOVERNOR WALKER!!!

Here is what is really funny. Once the recall efforts are over and only a feww succeed, the Republicans will still have majorities in the two houses and the Governor's seat. Then it will be payback time. Really looking forward to what they pass next around Unions  :-)

I keep seeing everyone talk about how the Republicans are over-playing their hand on this issue...

And yet silence from you about that prediction...

Be careful, your bias is showing.

I'm sure it was painfully obvious to the rest of the world that my post made it clear I believe the Reps may well lose enough seats via recall to jeopardize their majority.  How did you not get this?  Or is it just that you'll seize on the smallest, most irrelevant point in order not to address the real issue?  Perhaps because you can't.

I disagree...

I tihk a majority of folks in Wisonson actually agree with the legislature and while they may lose some seats in close districts, they will retain a majority.

If the Unions were to succeed and totally trounce the Republicans, the the state if Wisonson can look forward to the economic prosperity we have seen in other areas dominated by Unions...

Like Detroit, or Flint...

If the Republicans were smart, they would simply point to these cities and ask the citizens of the state if that is where they want to end up.

And those, my friend, are cold hard facts, or do you consider Detroit a financial success...

Have you ever made a bet at the Sports Book? You've basically made an even money bet ($50) that Walker will or will not be recalled during his 1st term. Do I basically have that right? Just like in Vegas, you can't go to the Sports Book after the game has started and increase or decrease your original bet based on what has already happened in the game.

Personally, GaG will win. This bet is like GaG taking Butler even money and they play the UConn WOMEN's team. If you are open to taking more action, I'll be happy to take the bet.

I never denied it.  So does snow.  I hope he wouldn't deny that, either, as it's pretty damn obvious.  My problem with him is the way he argues his case, accusing others of the biases he himself blatantly displays, not to mention refusing to answer the questions raised and throwing up straw men/red herrings.

GaG wanted to increase the orig bet----I decided to stay pat. I would NEVER decrease the bet---what am I ? A welching right winger ?-------LOL !

As for Quad, Jesus, dude, get a life.

He was such a fucking pussy. Maybe milk toast is a more appropriate term. You would think being a pussy and milk toast is normal behavior for a California liberal, but even that shit got him recalled. Statistically speaking, recalls rarely happen.

If the two of you agree to mutually agree to bump up the bet based on current info, so be it for me to comment on it. If the data changes, the odds change, just like Vegas. And eventually, Vegas will post odds. They did it with Davis, but they figured Cruz Bustamante (spel?) would win. How pathetic would that have been. Davis to Cruz to Arnold. No wonder California is fucked up.

So based on current info, if you want more action, I'll be more than happy to oblige.

and I'll book as much action as anyone here (with credibility of course) is willing to wager.

Pri was under no obligation to increase his bet, and he was in no way trying to "weasel out" of anything. Pri has been good to his word. WW OTOH tried to twist the bet around, just like he attempts to do with the facts, but WW and Pri are two very different people, I actually like Pri. lol

And I know many on the left would say I am bomastic and I would expect no less...

HOWEVER, I do not make claims that I could not go out and find history to back up. I make predictions like everyone else here, but I do not condemn others for the practices I do as well...

I leave that to my liberal friends...

Case in point...

The old "There is no God" post...

My simple ask, prove it....

I never post "There is a God". Why, because I can not ABSOLUTELY prove it...

I've never posted "there is no God."  I agree with the  thought, but who cares?  Actually, though, there's a recent article by Stephen Hawking in which he says he proves there's no God.  I'll do us all a favor and not post it.
