So, what's your point? So, he's a hypocrite. Doesn't mean GW is not happening! ;)

Is he a bigger hypocrite than Trump? Yes! But, not in this regard, because Trump is like a hog in feeding trough, who doesn't even pretend that his carbon footprint is an issue. No hypocrisy; just a glutton for energy consumption. Myself I'll take the hypocrite over the hog! ;)

You poo poo Huffpost and RS, and yet you have no problem with Daily Caller and National Center for Public Policy Research. a right-wing think-tank denying GW. ;)

Yes, he could reduce his carbon footprint by moving into a tent, but what does his carbon footprint look against others in the same tax bracket, like Romney, who has at least double more homes than Gore! National Center for Public Policy Research and DC would not want to bring that up in their reporting!  ;)

I watched the movie trailer this past weekend to the inconvenient truth sequel. What a bunch of BS. Al Gore is hypocrite consuming a shit load of electricity ever day while preaching his BS to everyone. The GW cult needs a new messenger to replace this loser.

The GW Gods WANT Al Gore to live this way, just like God WANTS the preacher who has a church in the poorest part of town, yet is applauded for buying a dozen Rolls Royce automobiles on the backs of his parishioners who tithe the food stamps they get to survive on to support their preachers lavish lifestyle because "God wants it that way" lol

So, what's your point? So, he's a hypocrite. Doesn't mean GW is not happening! ;)

You fail to make a convincing argument of hypocrisy.  In fact the facts shown can be more plausibly argued as an argument against it.

Sure Gore is a millionaire.  All millionaires everywhere have big energy footprints.  You have neglected the fact that Gore is well aware of that.  Maybe it's out of guilt over his awareness of that fact spurs his dedication to public service for the last who knows how many years he's been dedicated to public service and indeed the service of humanity.  I mean lets face the simple fact that he could instead be out playing golf or batin' to the porn channel all day.

Instead, he dedicates his time and money (which you accurately point out to the tune of $250,000) to trying to fix the most serious challenge to our very existence.  Anybody who has read the science, expressed in even the most simple and LCD terms and anything above that, knows the truth of this.  Unless of course they are blinded by greed.

The notion that we need fossil fuels like metro and coal cannot be dismissed, but as we progress, the economic viability of that solution is increasingly on the wane.  Oil prices are hugely distressed, so much that many "alt" methods, like fracking are becoming less profitable.  Call is dead due to Natural gas, which burns cleaner, is easily filtered, and is in huge abundance making it cheaper.  The Paris Accord has nothing to do with it.

So Gore, as well as any other thinking American knows that reducing our carbon footprint is essential.  Perhaps you miss that because his wealth and success and thus his power usage is larger, it serves an an impetus to do what he has been doing in furtherance of the fight against climate change for the last few decades.

Can you make that argument about Fake President Trump?   He's got more than a hundred times Gore's property (including the straw holdings in Russia?).  Oh yeah that's right.  Trump says climate change is a Chinese plot against him.  So you actually believe that?

wanting and promoting a cleaner environment. In fact, I believe a healthy environment is in everyone's best interest.

I have a problem with hypocrite cult leaders like GW activist Al Gore. Who wants everyone to follow his mantra and promotes more government regulations to stop the inevitable doomsday they preach.  That is now caused by Trump and conservatives.

The problem with liberals in general is that they fall into the trap of believing big government is the answer to everything. "Look, the globe is warming. No problem. Actor Al Gore and the Democrats will stop it with another tax funded program and controlling government regulations."

Al Gore is getting FILTHY FUCKING RICH selling "carbon credits" Al Gore is the epitome of greed, and he's just like the Bible thumping preacher who thinks it's God's will for him to shear his flock, and shear he does.

I am glad that you admit that the Paris Accord was/is bullshit, too bad you will never admit Trump rightly concluded we were getting screwed by it and that is why we pulled out of the deal. Fracking is hardly an "alt" method of producing oil, fracking has been commonplace for about fifty years now and I have fracked at least 80% of the wells I have ever drilled going back some forty years or so.

I think you are confusing "shale" production with the well stimulation method of fracking, but I know how easily you are confused. lol

Either way your argument fails.   I never admitted the Paris accord was bullshit.  Actually Gore took a bath on his carbon credit strategy- which was basically to make carbon trading too expensive to be economically viable.  But you still haven't said anything that counters my arguments.

Why don't you take a gander at Matt's take on that question. He acknowledged the fact so why cant you?

And Gore is a hypocrite not BECAUSE he is rich, but on HOW he got rich. One of those ways is, as GaG pointed out, is his selling of carbon credits. CC's are nothing more than the limousine libs attempt at assuaging their guilt.

But THEY don't want to have to change their behavior as they insist everyone else does. Isn't that the very essence of being a hypocrite? Does the expression "do what I say, not as I do" have any meaning to you? LOL

And oh, had the hypocrisy ONLY stopped their for Al it would have been one thing, but he flies all over the planet getting huge bucks for his warming alarmism and gets caught using SUV's in the process!! WHAT A FRAUD!

If Gore REALLY believes "that reducing our carbon footprint is essential" and that it is a "real planetary emergency", why isn't he acting like it and leading by example???

Is the answer to that question, in part, because that would cut into him profiting off of GW? Hmmmmmm....

Don't look at what Al Gore SAYS. Look at what he DOES.

Follow the money, Jinxy. Follow the money. ;)

We need to mine some more fucking coal..
