What new skill sets have you picked up during the pandemic ? People complain about not being to find jobs. Problem is they don't have the right skill sets. Instead of rioting and protesting they need to be getting marketable skill sets. As a prospective employer that is the interview question I will be asking on prospective employees.
Trade schools are closed. Employers are looking for experience. Can a sub-contractor, say an electrical engineer be a plummer in 3 months, with experience? I can see a gourmet chef going to MacDonald's, is that what you had in mind? And with there being a glut in the workforce, one Costco warehouse position can get as many as 100 applicants. You're making it sound sooooo easy. I'm bored so I'm just typing away.
of redneck workers of Trump voters? BTW 1, HC said the same thing to them and you trumpanzees took her to the woodshed! BTW 2, protesters were not protesting unemployment ....
There are many places offering free courses. Courses at discounted rates. Tons of free stuff out there if one has focus instead of watching TV all day long.
Young kids who were laid off have such skills as Pivot Table, Excel, multiple Cad designs applications...those are the same people that got laid off. Schooling for those are great, but now you need the experience. Unless you specialize in some unique field and you have the experience....don't expect anything to come up so quickly. What I'm trying to say is that employers can put a "Help Wanted" ad and they'll get ton of resumes now. I'm getting resumes 24/7 from people looking....Finding a job ain't easy in this climate.
