In which I said “I attended an Obama rally (at Dunedin Florida) recently & it was OPEN TO ALL.  No invitation necessary”  This is a FACT.

Subsequent post:

http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=74214&boardID=39&page=4

in which I clarified: "ANYONE can attend an Obama rally.  You are NOT screened out in any way.  You can even say you support McCain & would like to attend & you will not be restricted in any way. "

I think you need to understand what “invitation only” means.  The "invitation only" for Obama rallies is not a Screening mechanism.  The space at those rallies was limited, hence "invitation only".

Can YOU prove that Republicans or McCain supporters were EXCLUDED when they tried to get invitations, as YOU implied in your post????

Right.

You said no invitation was needed. I said invitations were needed. I showed many examples.

Now you want to raise the bar on what the definition of invitation means?

Yes that is EXACTLY what I am claiming. And I'd like you to prove me wrong.  I never "raised the bar".  I made 2 back-to-back posts on that thread.  Read it again.

The "invitations" early in the campaign had 2 purposes: 1) to build a database to communicate with attendees in the future  2) in limited seating venues, to avoid people showing up & not being able to get in

Show me proof that Obama rallies filter out prospective attendees.

Here's an upcoming rally :
