...Trump couldn't give a shit about being President. The slacker-in-chief cares more about playing golf, something he said he wouldn't have time for if elected.
Besides playing golf, he's also going to have a dinner for the one-year anniversary of his inauguration...$100,000/couple; $250K if you want your photo taken with him. There's an old joke about the first prize in a contest being a week in Philadelphia. The second prize is TWO weeks in Philadelphia. It should be the same for Trump: $250K for dinner, $100K for dinner AND a photo with Trump."the Art of the Deal?" Could you be forgetting all the sound bites of Trump on the campaign trail? Trump is the great negotiator! He makes deals! Always in the center of every deal, orchestrating the give and take of deal making, Trump would never allow our government to shut down.
We will all pay close attention as Trump's deal making is on display. He continues to show just as in all of his other empty rhetoric, just how full of bull shit he is!

Obama is the worst negotiator I have EVER seen. What he never understood, and what Trump knows like the back of his hand, is that you ALWAYS leave your options open, and you can't be afraid to walk away from a BAD deal.
For example, Obama just kept sweetening the pot with the Iranians, time after time, on issue after issue, to the point of us even giving up something as necessary as "unfettered access" to the nuke sites, which both Kerry and Moniz promised would be in any final deal.
Of course that is just one example, as I could have mentioned the Cuban deal, the Bergdahl swap, the Paris Accord, etc etc etc or any other number of other deals Odummy browned his shorts over and got steam rolled in.
So just relax, as Trump will make the best deal possible. He is not an ideologue and he is very agreeable to the "win/win" scenario, as opposed to "our enemy wins, we lose" deals the Obama admin was famous for. LOL
C’mon Jack you know better than to spew this utter bull shit. That said, I guess you aren’t much of a negotiator either. The fact is you simply cannot win a negotiation by “leaving your options open”. That's the opposite of negotiating and basically means you give up. Nor can you win when you walk away from the table entirely, which is exactly what Trump did in a very obvious “duck and cover” dodge to try and avoid blame. Trump just proves again that he is totally lacking in leadership.
Lindsey Graham certainly agreed with that assessment today.
Not surprising, especially here on TER, where so many know how bad it is to negotiate with hookers while at the same time claiming they have never done so. LOL
Of COURSE you leave options open. EVERY good negotiator does so. One rarely "gets" with out "giving." Your side is just so used to Obama getting hosed by every third world despot, so its no wonder you are left clueless as to how it is actually done by successful people.
You really need to attend a class at JDU, for if you had, you would have also been taught that ANY good negotiator walks from the table from time to time. It tests your opponent's resolve Jinx while at the same time lets him or her know you are not a pushover. Its called...wait for it Jinx...LEVERAGE.
If you saw what the idiot Obama did i.e. just give and give and give and give until the Iranians had to take the deal as it was too good to pass up.
And what followed next Jinx? Dancing in the streets of Tehran until the wee hours of the morning.
He is our text book example at JDU on how NOT to negotiate a winning deal.
I happen to be one of the best negotiators in my field. I negotiate deals every day all day long. Your understanding of the art is simplistic and ignorant. If my opponent gets up and walks away to “test my resolve” as you say I’m very happy because at that point I know their position is weak and they are as full of shit as you are. I simply stop talking to them until they beg me to return their calls.
The Iran nuclear deal was multinational and was an extremely good result. We didn’t give Iran squat. We lifted some sanctions and returned money that was lawfully theirs in the first place and we were holding for leverage. In exchange, we got to inspect their centrifuges and they took many of them offline.
The Paris Accord was extremely vital to our national security according to the Pentagon. Trump walking away from it increased Chinas standing as a world leader well beyond ours. Stupid negotiator that he is, he didn’t even understand what it meant. Obviously neither do you.
Trumps book, The Art of the Deal is taught to mediators and law students as an example of what not to do. Most of it is laughable nonsense. The truth is that Trump is horrible at it. He simply agrees to a bad deal because he knows he will stiff the other guy anyway and his lawyers will negotiate a settlement for him. He usually ends up paying more than he agreed to. Real smart negotiating there.
I could go on and on about this but on further reflection my efforts to teach you something valuable is a waste of time. You are just too stupid to learn.
of your valuable time, Jinx. Very altruistic, but you should know by now, "Duncy" does not even talk a good game. He rarely makes any sense. He probably did not even take notes when you tried in such a noble way to educate him. Either that or he shut down completely, as once he has made up his mind, he is rarely open to input from others.
As you well know, in ANY negotiation, both sides must try to figure out the best and worst potential outcomes. They must also consider just how badly they want to strike a deal and what the absolute most they would be willing to give up, as well as how far the other party would be willing to compromise. Naturally, this is a dynamic process and more is learned by both sides about each other, through the negotiation proceedings themselves.
Hasn't Trump already shown us he is incapable of strategic thinking on this level? His words, tweets, and actions have made that rather clear. We are watching most of what was written in Michael Wolff's book unfold right before our very eyes; Trump does not read, his attention span is too short to learn anything meaningful from his team of experts, and he is incapable of thinking in complex/strategic terms.
My compliments for trying to contribute to the betterment of your fellow man by teaching "Duncy" the basics, but my guess is; regretfully your pearls of wisdom, fell on deaf ears.
My foot is getting tired of kicking your ass. LOL
First you say, "We didn’t give Iran squat." And then immediately following that brilliant piece of fiction you say "we lifted some sanctions and returned money that was lawfully theirs..." WTF????????
Well, which one is it Jinx? They both cant be true. Either we didn't give Iran squat OR we lifted sanctions and gave them $150bn which salvaged their economy.
Don't worry. All is not lost. I just put you in for "Non Sequitur of the Year" but it wont be in time for this years SPOTY, sorry to say. LOL
I can also see you are unaware that the Paris Accord was a "fraud." No, that isn't Jack Dunphy saying so on a fuck board, it's the "Father of Climate Change", a man that Al Gore and the Warmist Left LOVE to point to as brilliant.
Read it and weep Jinxy:
“It’s a fraud really, a fake,” he says, rubbing his head. “It’s just bullshit for them to say: ‘We’ll have a 2C warming target and then try to do a little better every five years.’ It’s just worthless words. There is no action, just promises. As long as fossil fuels appear to be the cheapest fuels out there, they will be continued to be burned.”
Game. Set. Match. Mr. Dunphy. LOL
...Forget about arguing with Jack his reading comprehension is non-existent even the articles he posts counter his point, the entire reason for his posting is for him to believe himself a "winner", I guess that is just one more thing for him to be wrong about.
Maybe you should work on your own reading comprehension snowflake? Ha!
Watching you unilaterally declare victory is adorable. But there's only one problem. How could we "give" them something that was already theirs? The answer is, we didn't. We returned their property to them in an agreement that included the other major world powers. And what we got in return was worth it.
So once again you over-simplify a complex negotiation to make a cheap debate point.
Were you the Captain of your High School debate team?
I'm guessing you didn't quite make the cut.

I sure know better than to try and wnl an argument with you. Just a small point. You do realize that Hanson was critical of the Paris Accords because they did not go far enough to fight climate change, right? But they were a step in the right direction, unlike your daddy figure Donnie’s plan.
By the way. You didn’t win.
I see. Guess we all must choose the exercises that suit our own personal fitness plans. But must remind you, if you are trying to get "Duncy" to open his mind, you better bring the largest/heaviest crow bar you can find. Opening his mind is much more difficult than prying open a six foot clam, that is shut air-tight, and in the most defensive posture possible, protecting itself from an outside predator.
We both know the outcome of this type of exercise, but at least you will get a good, upper body workout in.
"C’mon Jack you know better than to spew this utter bull shit." He has spewed it so often, it appears he just boil-plates it time and time again. ![]()
You forgot to mentions how the president of Mexico, told trump to basically "Go fuck yourself" with that, "And Mexico will pay for it" wall nonsense. How's that negotiation working out? Funny you didn't mention that.
But let's be honest; that was never a negotiation between Trump and Mexico, Hyper. It never got that far.
That was simply Trump bloviating a campaign promise he could never keep. I am not only saying it now, but I also said the very same thing here, back when he was touting that asinine idea.
Any third world country that would pay 20bn or so to one of the richest countries on earth so that the rich country in question didn't have to pay it, would have been hung in the rafters by its citizens so this was never going to fly.
Much like Obama's "you get to keep your plan/doctor" lie, this was Trump's big lie.
and I am well on the record about being against the stupid border wall as well.
As far as lies go, it's not going to affect the average citizen anywhere near as much as "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan"
I can't be the only one who has noticed that the wall keeps "evolving" hopefully it will evolve into something that actually makes sense, but even at the very worst we are talking about a budget item that isn't even a rounding error on multi trillion dollar annual budget.
Any one who supports any POTUS 100% on EVERY issue is a moron like fg who never disagreed with a single thing Obama did, or Quad who seems to support everything that Trump does. For the rest of us, I can live with this particular disagreement I have with Trump.
No I don't think you're stupid.
I can see when your assumptions about me are way off channel, in your defense you sometimes jump to conclusions in a naïve sort of way, then again, this time you used "seems" to cover your bases.
Whatever turns you on makes no difference, I feel no need to explain everything with meticulous
details, on TER.
Don't think for a minute just because you don't have me figured out or even close, I won't vote for you in 2024.
I like Presidents who aren't afraid to say what's on their mind.
There is absolutely no one I agree with all the time.

Only sections of the wall will be built with brick and mortar
http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion-boards/politics-and-religion-39/we-are-already-in-the-process-of-building-a-wall-299388?page=
I do believe MAGA President Trump will do more for America and Americans than any President in my lifetime.
That's one of many reasons I campaigned for Candidate Trump.
I have no need to harp on the few MAGA President Trump policies I disagree with when I know beyond any shadow of doubt I don't have access for discussion or the power of persuasion to convince "him" to change his mind.
Convincing College student Bernie supporters to Just say NO to War monger HRC was easy, convincing our President to follow my advice would be close to impossible.
http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion-boards/politics-and-religion-39/-i-could-think-of-nothing-that-would-disqualify-trump-from-becoming-president--268239?page=
I didn't have a problem agreeing with Obama the few times in eight years when I thought he was making a good decision.
If you didn't catch my drift, that's OK, I've seen smarter guys than you scratching their head, wondering where they went wrong when they assumed and missed the mark.
and I am well on the record about being against the stupid border wall as well.

Negotiation never got that far because I'm sure during the campaign, trump got word that it was NEVER going to happen with Mexico footing the bill for the wall and him being elected.
But it also speaks volumes as to who the trump supporters are.. There's about a 30% group of trump supporters that actually believe this BS about the wall, I mean they take this shit to bed with them. They actually believed this nonsense.
Without this crazy rhetoric about the wall during the campaign I don't think these loonies would have voted at all. trump knew that this "wall shit" motivated his base, every pit stop trump made, it was the "Wall", you never seen a rally where that wasn't the theme.
The Obama "Keep your doctor" wasn't harped on constantly, and it didn't win him the election, He didn't campaign on that message.
Bottom line, it shows how naive, mis-informed and I hate to say this but there a flash of racism here. I'm trying to avoid that term but those supporters have got to be the some real dumb shits. Even you have to know that.
Imo, Trump's hard core supporters really don't give a shit about the wall. This is a case where his supporters and many others in the R party take Trump "seriously, but not literally." (Not sure who came up with that phrase but it was brilliant.)
His peeps want the border secure. If Trump, by whatever means, can honestly show that illegal immigration through border crossings has vastly improved under his watch in comparison to where it has been the last few decades, that will satisfy them.
As far as it being "racist", well Obama and Clinton voted to strengthen the "barrier" between us and Mexico, too. Hillary had to concede to Jorge Ramos in an interview that parts of the "fence" or "barrier", may indeed be a "wall."
If Trump and his supporters are "racist" for supporting a wall then the logic follows that Obama and Hillary are racists as well.
Just as an aside, Obama spoke about "keeping your plan/doctor" at least 27 times on the campaign trail, so he most certainly did campaign on it, and did so frequently.
How lucky is that, to get the one and only person who wants that wall.... Really you don't think there's more like him?
Jack, to make it easy on you, trump got 62mil votes, of those, you don't think 20mil cast their vote solely on that wall being built? I think sometimes you're blinded by your adulation for trump.
i'm sure crossing have slowed now as with Obama deportation was the highest...okay now what?
And now we're playing word games here,30 foot wall vs a fence, okay.. have it your way. Obama,Clinton, Carter....
And I don't think Obama mentioned 27 times about keep your doctor during the 2008 campaign. That was said after the election when he was pitching the ACA in 2009, But if that's the lie that you want to base this argument on, fine.
But I'd love to see where you pulled that out of.....or never mind that's between you and your....
I hope you get a chance to see the 2010 documentary “The Wall” . Its about an attempt at a wall during the Bush and Obama years. It was dIsaterous. Dems, Repubs, illegals, Coyotes, Civilian Militia, USBP agents, Californians, Texans, the list goes on and on that were interviewed all agree that a wall is a really stupid idea. In fact to get it done we would literally have to give thousands of acres of land back to Mexico. Real Estate genius, my ass.
You think your response makes any sense???
It's shows more of your stupidity.
So whether Trump and his GOP party can make a deal with themselves or not.
Just remember this time next year.
We will be talking about a new Congress.
The GOP will not have control over both houses either.
Most people in this country, see Trump as a disaster!
Also the GOP members in Congress are in trouble too.
I look forward to Trump's cult crying next year.
When they lose more power in Congress.
Also in the White House, when they have to deal with adults and not GOP enablers in Congress.

There you go again Duncy! Trying to deflect with your typical Obama ploy. Empty rhetoric as always. Stay tuned as the CURRENT president flip flops like dirty laundry twisting in the wind.
Try living in the present. Think you can do that? I am guessing NOT and will just pass as you ponder your next evasive deflection.
eh "Duncy!" Could you be shooting blanks in more ways than one? At least you keep trying, but sadly, with each try, you only reveal just how out of touch you are.
Every time I read one of your posts I feel a genuine sense of relief, that your shortsightedness could never impact anyone other than your sad self! Whew!
When you are three sheets to the wind, deeply depressed, and wondering how you could have ended up in such a state, take a deep long look in the mirror. It's YOU, "Duncy." You are the reason, you are where you are!
You forgot one....remember right before Trump told Obammy to get the fuck out of my house?
Obammy gave us one more big steamy turd of his failing pathetic legacy....he let a traitor tranny out of jail.
LOL
In anything,Example, first he wanted a bipartisan bill on DACA, a bill full of "Love", then Cotton twisted his ear and now he's a hard ass on DACA. Health care, again watching from the sidelines.....Nobody knows where he stands ...Let him play golf.
and has Stormy visiting him on Friday for a night of sex and booze! Tab: $260,000! Mar A Lago will bill the charges for the entire stay of the Clown to US Government that will include $260,000 under "miscellaneous security for the President".
Probably going to get a little Stormy down there..
... shutting down the Federal Government, denying millions of employees their salary while the three branches get paid tells something very fundamental:
The Constitution written during the time when people were riding horses is NOT fit in current times.
None other then our fearless leader.Let's see who he blames now? Gee let me guess...Now was the time for trump to lead. Public perception will lay this on the republicans and rightly so, they haven't passed anything except the tax bill to please their donors.
This could be the first time a party who has control of the government, suffers a shut down.
DACA was set with a bipartisan bill to present to trump, then trump started listening to the most extreme right. Maybe there'll be an extension, but lawmakers will finally have to make a decision on DACA.
Happy Anniversary...Mr. Deal maker...still sitting on the sidelines.
a shithole like ALL other cities run by dems
The choice is an easy one, I'll take the Big Easy every time.
I like NO, but just like Vegas 2-3 days and I gotta get the hell out of there...
