So there are 7 battle ground states and I just looked at the RCP averages. It would appear, at this early date, that Trump will most likely take North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and possibly even Nevada. That would be flipping three states Joe won in 2020 (AZ, NV and GA).  
In two states, the candidates are polling less than 1 point from each other i.e. Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, so who knows there.
The key seems to be Michigan, and numerous Dems were on the Sunday morning political talk shows saying they are quite concerned about what they are hearing as numerous Michigan based Muslim groups are calling on voters to boycott Joe due to the Israel/Hamas war.
That being the case, this will force the Biden team to go hard on Israel over the next few months. Very, very hard. The problem with that strategy is that that may hurt him in PA and Wisconsin on the margins, with more pro-Israeli minded voters, and we all know those states can be won or lost with 10,000 votes here or there.  
Then there is the added confusion that the 3rd party candidates bring to the table, possibly further eating into Joes already very tight margins in those states.
I give this another month. Maybe 2. Until May 1. If I dont see a pretty significant shift by then, I think its "break glass in case of emergency" time and the key big wigs in the Dem party have that sit down with Joe and basically convince him to stand down and then the party rallies around Michelle.  
There is just no way we can lose this election. None. I think the smart people in or party will let Joe feel "The Bern" strategy and for the good of the party, and more importantly, the good of the country, he steps down and allows someone who is virtually guaranteed to beat Trump, take his spot.
