Seems everyone just votes for them based on their personality and beliefs. Folks, they are just actors who are a voice for their constituents. Their true personality is kept way hidden just like an actor on TV is never the same person in the real world. You vote based on the party they represent and how well they articulate for their constituents. You don't vote based on their personal life or personality ( which is often fake anyways ).
I am sure there must be a term/phrase for people who think politician's personal values are what drives their decision making. How many times do you hear people saying I am not voting for him because he supports xyz or is against abc. Dude, they personally do not care for xyz or abc. It's their base that wants that stuff.
Nearly every thread on this board mentions a specific politician's name. Like they are the ones personally responsible for whatever the OP is mad about.
