More conservative hatred: (RE: Clinton's surgery)

It is really, really sad when people can take cheap shots at President Clinton's illnesss...

Probably everyone on this board (actually, everyone is U.S.) either has a family member, friend, co-worker, etc. who has coronory heart disease...It is far & away the nations #1 killer...Remember VP Cheney, not exactly a picture of perfect health either.....

The statements made by Limbaugh, Savage in article below are repulsive....

You comment that this was a "cheap shot" is more accurate that the farLeft report you cite; the only remark that indicated "hatred" was Randy Savage's.  Limbaugh's remark was political commentary about the nature of Clinton.  It was hardly "repulsive."  Where was your outrage about comments from Julianne Malveaux (hoping that Clarence Thomas' wife feeds him lots of butter, bacon, and eggs, so he gets heart disease and dies early, like a lot of black men), or Nina Totenberg (suggesting that it would be just if Jesse Helms grandchildren got AIDS)?  At least the stock in trade of Savage and Limbaugh is humor.  What's the excuse of these "serious" reporters?

This post, though, and the link, simply demonstrate that you far Lefties should grow a sense of humor.

so that you can celebrate in your personal lives all of the joy, love, and fellowship that you advocate here.''

I suppose the message of your current post is that ``liberal'' reporters, politicians, and people can be hypocrites.  Wow !!!!

As far as your talk about hatred goes, YOUR crying about it is a JOKE - And if my sense of humor is correct ... A funny one too.

Btw, PLEASE see if Senore Chavez can share more of his wisdom on abortion with us (pretty please - with sugar on top).

I can see him now, sitting in some tropical locale with a stacked plate of mandarin tacos in front of him.

All he was quoted as saying was that Bill opted for a quadruple bypass instead of a triple bypass to increase the sympathy factor. Again, just a joke (even if it isn't very funny), not hatred.  Maybe the left is just a little too sensitive?

First let me say I wish Bill Clinton a speedy recovery and a long and prosperous life.  (Don't ask me about Hillary :-) )

However, the first comment I heard after Clinton's problem was announced was from a "certified liberal" friend of mine who said, and I quote, "Bill Clinton would do anything to take the spotlight off of Bush's convention speech!"  I thought it was funny, he did too, it was funny!  It would seem that it was not Clinton that was dying, it was your sense of humor.

Savage is hardly a spokesman for the Republican Party, now on the other hand George W. Bush is, did you hear his comments of support and well wishes for Clinton?

I will offer this advise, don't take life so seriously, THAT will lower your blood pressure and make you a healthier hobbyist!

Again, Best Wishes to Bill Clinton!  I'm looking forward to your next book, "My Life" had me in stitches for three days!

Bribite,

Now come on, you've done your share of pissing & moaning on this board, I find it funny that YOU say get a sense of humor....

Thanks for the healthy hobbyist advice, but believe me I don't take life too seriously & my last physical & accompaning bloodwork states that I'm rather healthy (total cholesterol was 122 LDL-75)......

BTW, how would you react if a pundit, etc. would have made fun of Ronald Reagan's Alzheimer's diagonsis years ago?....With the same sense of humor your telling me to have,  right?

Radio guys are sposed to be aggressive.  I don't fault them for doing their job, however much their remarks are in poor taste.

It DOES indicate the level of Clinton Hate that is left over.  Sore winners.  The most successful conservative presidency of the last 50 years, and the GOP hate him for it!
