SCOTUS future

It does look like the Democrats intend to keep doing these ballot challenges until one of them actually threatens to block either a primary or the general election ballot -- forcing the SCOTUS to rule.

In a surprise to no one due to her earlier comments, the Democrat Sec of State of Maine says Trump cannot be on the primary ballot. As with Colorado, she suspends effect of decision on appeal. She previously said Trump should have been removed from office during the impeachment, and so obviously was going to rule against him.
.
Maine primary is March 5th.  Not sure when names have to be in for materials to be printed up.  Although I imagine it is pretty soon.  This may be another moot case.

Why you guys hating this state decision? Why you’re hiding behind SCOTUS? Eating another crow, huh?

She may be acting in good faith but I don't think these decisions help Joes cause at all. It's one person, a Democrat, removing Joes most likely opponent, a Republican, from the ballot. Many people may view this as an attempt for voter disenfranchisement and Trump Inc will just add this case to "prove" the "deep state" is trying to screw him. Just another version of his "the system is rigged" canard.

I'm saddened by the authoritarian nature of the modern liberal.  If they don't like what you say, you are cancelled.  If they don't like certain views, they censor.  If they don't like certain politics they remove you from the ballot.
.
It's a very scary totalitarian mindset.
.
Whatever happened to letting the people discuss in public and decide at the polls.

You cant talk about "authoritarian nature" and then be a Trump supporter. And your guy praises "totalitarians" all the time and yet I have seen no criticism of him by you on that front.

He governed as a moderate and started no wars.  The poverty rate was the lowest in history the last year of his administration.  The economy was doing great until Covid.  He followed Fauci's advice on combating covid.  His immigration rules were eventually upheld by the Supreme Court.
.
Could you be specific in which area he was "totalitarian"?  Even Biden has lost in the Supreme Court, so it will have to be something egregious.    He was found not guilty in the two partisan impeachments.
.
So be specific, and be honest.

Does inciting an insurrection to stop a duly elected president from taking office count? That's what totalitarians do Lester.

Charts, circles and arrows, please show us exactly how trump incited said insurrection and then if this really happened (which it didn’t) why didn’t trump and his insurrection not take over the government and install himself as dictator for life?

Sec of State of Maine is appointed by the state senate/house members, not elected by the public.  The three branches of Maine government are all controlled by Democrats.

Her 15 minutes of fame. Within a half hour of this coming out she was on cnn and pms-nbc.

Shenna bellows is a washed up political hack. In 2014 she got humiliated and  lost in a landslide the Maine US senate race  to Susan Collins. 68% to 31%.

She saw a few other states trying to kick Trump off the ballot so in a copycat move she saw an opportunity to get her face on TV and in the news  trying  to make herself relevant in the dumbocunt party and perhaps looking to run for office in the future.

in the end Trump will be on the ballot which means that once again she and the dumbocunts lose

She is a nobody desperately trying to be a somebody but will remain a nobody.

2024 = GOP all The Way

sayd she won't print ballots until court rules.
.
That's going to be interesting.

Hmm, if Maine kept Trump off the ballot, but Trump went on to win the election and become president, wouldn't Maine be in rebellion to the USA?  Under the 14th Amendment all their Senators and Congressmen would be barred from federal office.

Isn’t Maine a state where winners DO NOT take all as far as the electors go?
