velcro.  The difference will be that this issue will stick like a 500 lb weight and take one of them down with it.  Initially it looked like the issue was damaging Mr.Kerry, but if events continue along the path that they are now headed, Mr.Bush will end up being the loser.

Bush's gains among veterans will shrivel to insignificance when compared to his ultimate losses among the non-veterans who make up most of the voters.

What I find interesting is that the polls were showing that veterans are leaning towards Bush by 18% more since the ads began, yet the overall "Who would you vote for this week?" polls have risen in Kerry's favor.
