The amount of underhanded abuse 100% needs to be exposed and eliminated. This is why there is so much division as it is. The corruption is crystal clear yet it just continues as if it's not happening.  
If this commission is actually put in place, it'll be a great thing. It will also expose some extremely corrupt democrats.

My A-Number One issue is that Trump will escape accountability for the vast majority of his crimes, past AND FUTURE.  
Trump's HOAXES and ABUSES OF POWER are will known but he will now escape prosecution and conviction.

Most NYers who have followed Trump in the news since the 70s (housing discrimination cases) know that he is a liar, a cheat, a fraud, a crook ... and an incompetent businessman who, in business, is a Lucky Loser. "I overpaid for Trump Plaza." "I overpaid for Trump Shuttle." "I overpaid for Trump Casino." ... "I overpaid for the DC Post Office (hotel) lease." (Trump admitted to all of those failures.) ... ALWAYS spending other peoples' money (bank loans that he then defaults on). Going forward, Trump has the US taxpayers to fund his "investments."

The DC case goes away. The J6ers get POTUS pardoned.

The FL documents case is cut and dried obstruction that occurred while no longer POTUS. Even if the 11th Circuit reverses Cannon's "special counsel" dismissal (nearly certain to happen to preserve the DoJ use of Special Counsels) and removes Cannon from the case, it will end after that. If the case is stayed for further prosecution until Trump is no longer POTUS he will have already POTUS-pardoned his citizen-self from Fed crimes committed 2021-2024. Even if challenged, SCOTUS will confirm the self-pardon.  And POTUS Trump will pardon Nauta and Olivera (sp?) and others who participated in hiding documents from the DoJ and National Archives and obstructing justice. (Trump will probably have the Trump-DoJ go after those who plea bargained or provided evidence about Trump during the investigation: the Mar-a-Lago guy who notified the FBI about the plot to erase surveillance tapes or even flood the computer room with a faked "leak" from the swimming pool.)

[Remember when Trump got a $76M tax refund from the IRS by FALSELY claiming a total loss on his Atlantic City casino holdings? Michael Cohen was there (Trump Tower) when Trump received the refund. Trump said to Cohen, "I can't believe these [IRS] guys are so stupid.") Expect more of that.]

POTUS Trump will make a bonfire in the Rose Garden out of the Pres Portraits of Obama and Biden (property of "we, the people") and claim "Presidential Immunity!" Trump will re-activate retired General Milley and order him court-martialed -- but if the military court does not convict Milley at trial, Trump will overrule them. "Presidential immunity!"

Trump will refuse to make the standard POTUS financial disclosures and dismiss routine requests for same with "Fuck you! Immunity!" Trump will make Truth Social the OFFICIAL platform for publishing POTUS screeds and when warned of conflicts of interest, he will say, "Fuck you! Immunity!" Musk will not receive security or conflict of interest clearances to serve "the public" in the Trump administration. Trump will ORDER relevant agencies to approve Musk and remind everyone that "Musk isn't here to serve the public! He is here to serve ME and his own self interests! Immunity!"

My number two concern isn't the "routine" stuff (changing policies here and there; changing rules and regs here and there -- that happens with every change in Admin). It is still a concern but it is #3 after my #2.

My number two concern is what POTUS -- ANY potus -- does in a crisis. Bush failed BEFORE and AFTER 9-11. Bush was WARNED by US intel agencies at the highest levels and with the highest priorities of the likelihood of imminent domestic attacks. Bush did NOTHING and ignored the warnings and recommended actions. The result: 9-11. And his response to 9-11 was a poorly planned response and NO followup plan -- what's the tally? $6 trillion? $10T? more, including continuing care for veterans? -- and the longest war. ... Trump's response to the COVID crisis: "It will be gone by Easter." is an indicator of what is to come.

There will be "predicted" problems that might reach crisis levels, e.g., Trump mass deportations and tariff policies causing consumer prices to go up and global financial ramifications. Others will argue over what to do but try to solve those problems as they arise. My Number Two concerns are the crises that are not "textbook" or predicted cases. This, IMO, is why POTUS needs to be a smart, skilled leader and not a grifting scam artist.
