I lived on the East Coast then but when President Clinton spoke, we heard the speech from beginning to end....televised on every major network (channels: 2,4,7 & 9)I just moved here so I don't know if it was like that here.
But I have noticed here that when President Bush speaks, his  speech is only a couple minute snippet maybe lasting 10 minutes tops. Is this just because it's like that here in LA? Or is it because President Bush isn't the best or most intelligent speaker?

I don't think Bush has ever given a speech that lasted more than 10 minutes!!!

  giving him even 10 minutes?????  Bush had 1 speech before 9-11, and a 2nd speech after 9-11.  Same old BS over and over and over and over and over again!!!!!  His speeches are like porn movies!!  You hear one, you heard them all!!

The speaches are shorter when you don't take both sides of every issue.
Bush will never be known for flowery oratory but try listening to the message. You are the  person responsible for your success not some goverment program. Be responsible, help your community, and a general positive outlook helps the economy.

I actually heard some tape a of a debate in Texas when he was goin' fur gov'nor.  WTF happened?  He made sense- was an actual competitor to Ann Richards.

Same Bush, same delivery, same message, nothing has changed.  Bush doesn't vote for something before he votes against it, doesn't make policy based on opinion polls, hasn't slung mud, just exposes Kerry for the empty suit he is by using his record.

I stopped taking the GOP saltpetre a while ago.  And there was a real difference in that old tape a nd present speeches.  The man did not seem anywhere near as clueless.  Still spoke utter crap- but did it soooooo much better?

Perhaps AlzHeimers attacks ALL GOP presidents early?  Naaah, his dad still makes sense.....
