Dumbass Donnie and Malania tested positive for COVID.  Its all just a hoax though.

All I can say is that KARMA IS A BITCH:) however, I would not be surprised if Biden test positive also because they were screaming at each other for 90 Minutes .

Yes, rather far fetched.

Now, if Trump were to become so sick he cannot perform his duties (or Pence and the Cabinet make that claim and Congress supports it) Pence assumes the duties -- which is a bit different than becoming President. But that would only last as long as Trump cannot perform the duties.

So Trump probably has to die from COVID AND then Pence do so as well. But as the second link gets into, it is not that simple. If the election does go forward on schedule and the outcome what most polls are indicating then Biden is probably in the seat, not Pelosi (who is even OLDER than Biden -- we really need to put a max age on these positions).

So what is needed for a first woman, never elected to the office, President Pelosi? Elections held, Trump wins, Pelosi reelected and keeps her Speaker seat (not sure if that is a potential change or not) AND then both Trump and Pence become completely incapacitated at the same time.

and I hope the Trumps, Hicks and others who may have been infected a speedy recovery.

But assuming everyone recovers from this, there’s at least two huge positive outcomes that I think are likely:

1.  It will save many lives, because it will cause lots of coronavirus deniers to change their ways.

2.  It greatly increases the odds of Trump leaving the White House for good on January 20.

Could we be looking at a President Pence shortly? Also, what do the RNC rules say about what the party must do to nominate a replacement candidate if Trump is unable to perform his duties? I assume Pence automatically becomes the nominee but does anyone know for sure? Is there a timing issue in terms of Pence being able to get on the ballot as Prez instead of VP?
And what about the Bryant nomination?
Consequences.

I'm not sure with the GOP, but 538 discussed this in the primaries in re: Biden. The DNC would pick a new candidate, pretty much at their whim. But most likely the Veep nominee.

The GOP could leave Trump on the ticket, and in the event of a win, the succession is clear: Pence would be the Veep, and succeed.

I try to be a decent human being, so I will hope for his recovery. If only so he can be properly tried and convicted.
