allowing undocumented workers to obtain drivers licenses while keeping the feds from accessing the DMV records to identify them? The NYT reports today that Trump’s DHS “suggested Wednesday that the state had endangered national security with a new law allowing undocumented  immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses.”

          Ok I’m down with that. When I drive on the highway, I’m not worried about drunk drivers at all. Allowing an undoc who has passed the drivers license tests to drive, however, is a real problem. We’d be much better off if we didn’t let those guys study to get DLs- they can just guess what “yield to incoming traffic means.”  

          Fortunately, Trump has a solution to the problem-ban New Yorkers from bypassing those long lines at Kennedy by flashing their Trusted Traveler number. I’m down with that too- make Jack stand in line for hours as he ponders another “sound Trump policy.” Poetic justice, you say?

            And for those critics who say making Jack stand in line at the airport HAS NOTHING TO DO with giving driver’s licenses to illegal aliens- are you dense? This is called… Trump using the government to punish a political rival – Cuomo and the Dems –and um… Jack. And we all know that is NOT impeachable.

Here in Minnesota we have until October to get our drivers licenses replaced with RealID versions -- if we want to use licenses as ID for boarding flights.  This is a federal requirement that is years in the making, long before Trump.

I haven't got mine yet, but can board with a passport (or a passport card.)  Not everybody has passports, though.

could care less.  Every issue has to be all about him--he wouldn't have it any other way.  Clearly the most self-serving, vindictive person on the planet!

In Roman times when a plot against the emperor failed, the traitors were allowed to commit suicide in order to go out quietly and save their name and reputation.  Otherwise, they would be humiliated and executed publicly.

 
The modern day version of this is that these deep state swamp people that failed in their coup attempt on Trump should all resign, or else they will be fired from their government service amid the slings and arrows of a Trump tweet-storm.  Ivanovich did this and denied Trump the satisfaction of pay-back.  Others who testified against Trump should do the same thing.

Of course those who truly think there is a "deep state" are either joking, being sarcastic, or completely misguided.  Something probably one of those characters from the movie "Deliverance" would believe.
