For quite some time polls have show a stong majority of people think the country is headed in the wrong direction.A strong majority of people think Bush is a strong leader. It would seem to me the logical conclussion would be Bush is leading us in the wrong direction. To carry that one step farther, Bush has said we are on the right path, you know what I will do , I will not change and so on, you get the idea. That would seem to say Bush will continue to lead in the wrong direction.........Well?         Bob

People want change, but they are afraid of what it takes to change.  It is better to them to go on ahead with what makes them feel "secure", and just hope for the best.

I just saw a poll that only 55% of Americans know that Sol, our sun, is a star.

AMERICANS ARE EITHER STUPID, OR IGNORANT, and all too often both!

Look to that for your explanation of the last 4 years!

That is perhaps the most worthless poll question ever asked in the history of polling.  It provides no useful information whatsoever.  For example, a conservative could look at this country and say "I don't like activist courts, I think we are playing too nice in Iraq (bomb them to the stoneage), we have too many abortions, etc." and conclude that the country is "going in the wrong direction."  Is that person going to vote for Kerry or does that person think the "wrong direction" is the fault of Bush?  NO!!

Dumb poll question, meaningless.  Should be disregarded.
