Taking a look at past first ladies and their contributions to America, I wonder how history will review her.
Other past first ladies have made valuable contributions to their country and campaigned for worthwhile causes.

Michelle has done nothing aside from talking about healthy foods while she stuffs her face with french fries and ice cream.
She is also the biggest spendthrift first lady in history.
For the second time in her life, she's proud to be an American at the taxpayers expense. How sad.

Interesting points.  Soooo...since I despise both Michelle and Laura, and yes, her ass has gotten bigger, can I get your views on this?  Since the Republican party has basically fractured, is the Democrats best defense to remain united and stand as the last remaining "unchanged" party or could they survive a shake up and bit of dissention in the ranks, as well?  Do you see the Tea Partiers as eventually melding into or even taking over the Repubs or is the start of a new fracturing of the political parties as we knew them?  (Priapus and Hirogen, I love to read your posts)

Hey pria, we in NJ love Christie. Well, all of us not in the NJEA, or the CWA unions. He does make sense as GaG mentioned, and he has cut back on state spending, big cuts, and balanced the state budget. The unions are pissed. Btw, Chris Matthews went on for at least 5 minutes on his show recently, ranting about how fat Christie was. Christie's response was basically telling Matthews to fuck off, in so many words.

The First Lady has done much to really show up as a role model in terms of leadership, class, style and grace for young women of color. At the very least, having her face in the White House has gone far to show young women of Color in the United  States that they too can achieve things which people deemed as being "impossible" a mere generation ago.

"All of America" has had many women role models, but never has a First Lady worn the face of a Woman of Color until now, and that is part of Michelle's legacy to younger generations in my eyes.
