One of the brightest individuals with regard to economic issues that I have ever had the pleasure of spending time. The McCain camp blew it by not taking advantage of him as a campaign spokesman on economic issues.

Paulson and the rest of the Wall Street and government assholes took take some lessons in econ 101 from Herman.

If he is as smart as you think, next time ask him how to balance Pelosi ,Reid, and Barney Frank

I've had a chance to speak with Herman as well.  He should be the first black President.  I wish I'd known who he was when he ran for US Senate. Former small business owner, CEO of Godfather's Pizza, and more commob sense than any other public figure I know; well he & Clark Howard anyway.
