After a long delay, James Dobson finally gave the nod that he will pull the lever for the McCain/Palin ticket.  Now his millions of brainless followers have the endorsement they need to vote for someone they've never liked.

Given McCain's background, there will be some sweet irony if this happens.

You really couldn't find less of a "family values" guy than McCain no matter how hard you looked.  Unless your definition of family values is dumping your family, as he did his first one.

Funny also that you never hear much if anything about his first wife - Carol Shepp McCain - or his first family of three kids.  They don't seem to make it to the podium somehow.  Hmm....
