Does Zaslav (ceo warner) and or Thompson (ceo cnn) have the class to do so?

MSNBC is for sale.  The LA Times owner has fired the editorial staff and will replace them to be more "fair" after the results of the election showed that they were serving only a small segment of the population.

This is interesting.

Where's Big Pappa Flop to scream it's all racist?

I am still waiting on his condemnation of Joy Reid (who is an actual racist) for her remarks about White Women.

MSNBC isn't for sale. Its parent company, Comcast, is considering spinning of its cable programming networks -- MSNBC, CNBC, Oxygen, Bravo, and E! -- into a new company that would be wholly owned by Comcast. Of course, at some point that company could be sold but that's not the initial plan.
Congratulations to Fester for getting a tiny part of the story right.

Nicky:

MSNBC isn't for sale
Looks like the old man bought the corporate spin hook, line and sinker.

Of course MSNBC is for sale!

Bill O'Reilly reveals Comcast wants to throw MSNBC “overboard” because their hateful rhetoric is tanking NBC's views.

“They're not putting anything into MSNBC. They want to sell it... You can get MSNBC for nothing.”

The next show on the media chopping block is ABC's The View.

“ABC News is going to have to cut ties with The View.” O'Reilly revealed, leaving Chris Cuomo and Stephen A. speechless as they listened to his every word.

“And you saw that today or yesterday when Sonny Hostin had to read a legal statement in the middle of a segment. The lawyers got in Whoopi Goldberg's ear and said, ‘We're bringing a statement in on a teleprompter.’ She reads it. So it is over for these far-left networks. Done. Never coming back. Dracula's stake in the heart.”

Now he's citing Bill O'Reilly as his authoritative source. LOLOLOL!!!!
This is the guy who was sacked by Faux News years ago for his toxic bullshit.
But according to the two of you, a spin-off is a sale?
Not in any accurate business lexicon.
All we know at this point is MSNBC and other networks will be put into a new business package and shares of said package will be given to Comcast shareholders. So instead of one share of the current corporation they'll have two shares of the same thing.
That ain't a sale.
And what happens to the shares in the new entity over time is anyone's guess.
But keep swilling Fester's ignorant ass-umptions, ChicKie.
Good boy!

First of all our very own board spelling patrol missed his own goof because he was too busy pointing out everyone else's.
"spinning of" - I'm sure he meant spinning "off" which is the easiest way to either continue something that may be on the way out anyway to a suble "retirement" or, the nice way of canning it by silently killing it on your own.
In other words,  MSNBC is "for sale" one way or the other. I predict it'll be dead by summer 2025.
Televised TDS doesn't work. Just ask CNN.

when the post to which he replied is perfect. Then he proceeds to write some total word salad that is literally incomprehensible.
Nice work, SPOAT!
Now take the last word, as you must....

Nice job of displaying your low level of comprehension to the rest of us. Although we all knew it anyway.

JUST IN: Elon Musk taunts that he is thinking about buying MSNBC after Comcast announced they were putting it up for sale.

"How much does it cost?" Musk asked.

"The most entertaining outcome, especially if ironic, is most likely," he followed up.

The comment comes as a meeting was held between top "talent" at MSNBC Rachel Maddow, Chris Jansing, and Katy Tur where they discussed MSNBC's future.

Maddow recently took a $5M pay cut as the outlet continues to struggle.

Their key demo last Friday, the one that determines advertising rates, was 61,000. Dozens of podcast get more than that.

Apparently in fear of getting unceremoniously  shit canned.

He was probably informed that he should seek employment elsewhere.  That's the usual way to let big names go without embarrassing them in public by firing them.
