Geez you folks can't even think for yourselves. Your only sources of information are from Faux news and other conservative media blogs, and you wonder why you didn't see the "minority" driven freight train coming your way last night. The only polls you all believed in were the right wing leaning polls from Rasmussen and they were woefully wrong.

Did anyone else see "60 Minutes" this past Sunday? Steve Kroft did a joint interview with Mitch McConnel & Harry Reid and the one thing that they agreed upon was that things in Washington between the two parties have become nothing but one side trying to defeat the other and compromise has been thrown out the window. I'm not happy about Obama getting re-elected but these politicos have got to get together, work things out, and do what's best for the country, not their respective parties. I also think we need to institute term limits for all members of Congress so they're "2 and out" like The President. These guys and gals become nothing more than puppets for special interest groups and cease to serve their constituants after being in their positions for multiple terms.
Also, keep an eye on the 22nd Amendment the next couple of years. I told friends 4 years ago that I thought Obama would try to get it repealed if he was elected to a second term.

budget passed!

Not only has to be approved by congress, 33 states have to pass it, stop taking those paranoid pills. Hell, the GOP will do their best to try to impeach him before his term is finished. so he's not going to make a power play for extra terms, lol...

I agree on term limits for senate = 2 & 3 for congress, as well as 1- 6 year term for the president...they waist 2 years running for re-election, so they might as well have 6 years to concentrate on doing their job.

1.) Can't you live your life around Washington's nonsensity?

2.) Don't you think our election system serves the pupet masters quite well?

No general election equals no campaign contributions.

I'm actually contemplating changing my approach totally. I met a guy about 8 or 9 months ago who is a very successful sales manager at a car dealership and he said he'd never voted in his 40+ years. He said he didn't care who was in office, but just tell him what the rules are and he'll play by them. I could save myself a lot of time and energy if I just stop giving a damn and do what he does.

but I don't read your pathetic diatribe anymore. Why don't you go make fun of some special needs kids somewhere since you find humor in that kind of thing?

Even if they did, Obama would not run for a 3rd term.
