First there are NO WWll ships in the fleet, they have all been decommissioned and put in mothballs or sold/given to other nations navies.
As for high-tech cool shit you clearly have no fucking idea what we have and we have some really cool stuff. Then there is the really,really cool high-tech stuff very few people know about.
As for them being off our coast.......how are they going to get here?
do they have refueling at sea capabilites ...replenishing at sea capibilites?
Where are they getting the supplies from? Food, spare parts, fuel etc ?

Iran does not have the capability to maintain a naval task force so far from home.
but anyone sleeping on their "army/navy" should look into it..
It's more hightech than ours, it's newer, and the kind of weapons they use are new generation weapons, something MANY of our navy ships aren't even equipped with..
Like EMP's and hightech laser guns..

What a joke! Just read the attached article. Gosh, I wonder if they'll be deploying any of their "hightech" radar-evading speedboats across the Atlantic? All the rest of the high-tech stuff referred to in the article are cruise missiles and medium-range ballistic missiles that only can be launched from Iranian territory. I'll bet our sailors are quaking in their boots right now.

Do you even understand what an EMP bomb is? It is a nuclear weapon! That's what produces the electromagnetic pulse. But guess what???? Iran has not even tested a nuclear weapon yet. We do not know how long it will take them to do that, assuming they ever do. Then they need to make it into a fully deliverable weapon. Even when they do, why would they use it against the US? If you read the link, it points out the Iranians don't really have any new high-tech weapons because of the arms embargo. You would probably believe it if they said they had developed flying carpets.
Second, the US does NOT have any "OLD ww2 ships" and hasn't since the last battleship was decommissioned more than ten years ago. Get your facts straight. Oh, never mind, why should you start now?

The US Navy does not have any ships from the WW2 Era. I think most of the Vietnam Era ships are gone also.
Also note that those older ships in the US Fleet have been upgraded with newer electronics and weapons systems, so they are just as capable as a new ship.
