Keep an eye on MN....
One of Walz Appointees (that quit), prior to coming on board with Timmy, was a part of Lutheran Services. Who is one of the people being accused of ignoring the whistleblowers who brought up the fraud reports early on.
Lutheran Services would get PAID to bring people over to "establish" them in communities. While Lutheran Social Services isn't an NGO....it does get grants and donations. Which can come from Schools, NGO's, etc.
Also a professor from Macalester College in St. Paul stated that the culture in Somalia is to steal from a corrupt government or take advantage of it.
From The Western Journal: "Macalester College professor Ahmed Samatar, a Somali native, told the New York Times that the fraud should not be surprising.
He explained that Somali refugees who came to the U.S. after their nation’s civil war often grew up in a system where stealing from a corrupt government was routine."
Again..... Not saying ALL Somalian's are bad or corrupt. Trump is WRONG for saying that shit. Just giving background and the words from a professor from Somali.
Like I keep saying..... People across the country..... eyes should be on this in MN. Remember we were told no fraud in Medicaid..... Here in MN is an example of it.
We were told no abuse in SNAP.... yet in "red states" or states that reported numbers to this administration. About 186K people were found to be dead and roughly 500,000 being double enrolled or getting double benefits..... Again of states that reported about 21 states haven't reported or are suing the Trump Administration about reporting numbers. So how many more could it be. BTW.... average cost is about $187 a month....that is $1.5B a year in waste/fraud. Just from reporting states. Let alone the improper payments.... this is over and under paying of people. This should be alarming for EVERYONE.
I am not saying that the government officials are stealing on purpose with SNAP. But just bucking Trump Admin for checking on numbers is pure bullshit. This money could be going to other places or to keep that system up and running for years.
