With all that is going on in the world today isn't it more important that people be more truthful and sensitive in their dealings with others, and more faithful to personal values and commitments. Whether we're Republican, Democrat or Anarchist aren't we all Americans?  Can't we find solace in knowing that whoever wins the election we'll all be fucked?  

If one of our friends here has a bug up his ass, then shouldn't we as neighbors be willing to help him extract it?  When we all come together to help as a community doesn't that also help us.  Stretch out that hand and help a friend here take that bug out of his ass.  Then, and only then, can we as a community pull the collective bug out of our asses.

I highly doubt that the demographic group represented here have much problems in that department...

I think the root of the issue lies in the fact that we get viscously raped repeatedly by the very politians that work for us,
and they take turns,
and they're not that clean,
and then someone comes along every 4 or 8 years that says that they'll protect us from the evil ones- and then end up getting us from both sides

and their excuse?  YES WE CAN!
