If McCain chooses a good VP, and wins the election, then dies in office from cancer or old age(hopefully within the first 180 days) We might end up with someone in office who can lead us out of our downward spiral. John Sidney McCain III endured five and a half years as a prisoner of war- That's teh ultimate test of survival. Regardless, I'll cast my vote for the man who has dedicated most of his adult life to our Country. He didn't sell out any of the men in his command and endured torture to protect a few. He has always acted as a responsible American. I can't say the same for some of the others that have made a bid for the position of Commander in Chief.

Is he rich or poor and what is it he believes in Christianity or following the Muslim faith? And is he a Hawaiian, an African, a scholar or just some poor black underprivileged guy who was lucky to find his way to Congress.... he doesn't seem too clear on which personality he wants to claim today!  His campaign trail seems to grasp to whichever claim is in fashion that day- I know he can quickly tell you what everyone else has done wrong but what exactly has he sacrificed for this Country????

I think McCain's history has proven his love for America. I'd trust him to do what's best for the citizens.

This man has demonstrated over & over that not only does he have strength of character but that he can also make decisions based on the values that America was founded on.
....."First taken first released"...... is a sentiment only true Veterans can understand. McCain refused to go home before any other prisoner was released who was there before him. This resulted in his being placed in solitary confinement for over 2 years. When beaten beyond recognition to force him to sign a war crimes act he chose death before dishonor. It was only then that the captors realized the enormous strength of character that was in the individual they were torturing. There is nothing that another candidate can claim which will demonstrate their love for our country and the beliefs that Americans hold so dear. These beliefs that have been the foundation and building blocks of our Nation.

-Why do most Americans know so little of the sacrifices and the beliefs of this man? -Because he refuses to "Bank" on anything he has done in the past. McCain believes in being recognized for what he will do in the future and is running his campaign based on what he has planned for the future of our country. From his grandfather to his dad and then to himself; a long history of American Patriots who have demonstrated both their courage as well as their devotion to America.  

With the situation of hatred around the globe and numerous countries already claiming a jihad revolution already being fought; our country couldn't find another Veteran as qualified and devoted to the position of Commander in Chief as McCain. If half the globe has already declared war on the beliefs of our country who better to lead us than someone who has already demonstrated his love and devotion to the ideals of the American way of life.  

It was McCain who stated: While God may forgive these terrorists  (referring to the group who took down the Trade Towers) we will make them pay. I'm more comfortable knowing the war on terror is being fought abroad as opposed to here on American soil. I'd be happy to know we had a qualified veteran leading our military.

To be honest- it isn't just my admiration for a Patriot. I am also compelled by the hidden  agenda of Hillary which forces me to speak out.

I personally feel Hillary is a threat to the American way of life. As illustrated in Hillary's own thesis, her words bear evidence of her own Marxist or socialist views. Closer examination of much of her latest campaign tactics will reveal her: " ‘There Is Only the Fight...’ this was taken directly from her studies of  Saul Alinsky. A man to whom she not only studied with but also looked to for insight. Hillary D. Rodham has been noted as commenting on his "exceptional charm"  This description of a man who has been known to many as a Marxist and socialist. Now, with more and more of Hillary's thesis being published and other writings by this woman being examined, there is further proof that she is on track to deeply embed socialist ideas into our country and government. That isn't what America stands for nor is it what our country was built on. We are a capitalist society and it is that very idea that has formed our country and been the basis of our Nation. To put a woman into office who has previously stated Marxist beliefs and socialist ideas at a time when America is directly under attack isn't a good game plan in my thought.

Before pulling any lever to place an individual in a position of authority, I feel it is an obligation to inform myself of the candidates running. Surely there isn't one intelligent person among us that can argue Hillary's 92-page thesis isn't laced with Marxist ideas and socialist views. -And the argument that this thesis isn't a true view of this woman's beliefs just makes me wonder if there is anything about this campaign or that woman that you can believe. After all if you can't believe her own written word then what can you believe. No, I don't want her in the white house again. Besides, our Government doesn't need to spend all that extra money on a clothing allowance because Hillary "doesn't feel comfortable around all those Uniforms" as witnessed when she moved into the white house the last time and demanded all uniforms be replaced with suits. NO THANK YOU- that isn't what built the strength of this Nation; but attitudes like that will definitely lead to the fall of our Nation.

Woman or not, I don't think casting an approval of this type of behavior by voting for her and the ideals she stands for, is in line with my severe Pro-American views.

I'm also glad she is in a state of semi-retirement, gives her more time to play with friends,like me! Who did she "tell all" about in her book. I read it and I didn't see one client that was exposed.

While McCain is (or was) most of what you decribe him to be, he's also old, frail, out of touch and sadly seems to be aligning himself to be a continuation of the failure we currently have in the whitehouse... just because he endured a prison camp doesn't make him a good president... it might have made him a good one 25 years ago, but like Bob Dole he's WAY past his prime and usefullness...
