if you look back on the board discussions here from that time period, you can read for yourself how the Lefties here defended this blatant assault on free speech.  They were parroting the "misinformation" narrative invented by the Biden administration.

Yes ,low lives will be able to be racist again, and lies and propaganda will be rampant again on social media. More dog eating lies, more killing of babies, and what's it not - just distraction from their real agenda . What they really want to do will soon start to  come to the forefront, this is just the beginning. There will chaos and confusion for those who do not understand the system under which they live,while there will be many who think they will be  benefactors. As the great Marcus Harvey said,"They will not know themselves until their backs are against the wall".

wrote a scathing article condemning Zuck for ending fact-checking and going to a free-speech model like Musk has.  They say that Zuck blows with the political wind, but he has given several detailed interviews lately where he goes into great detail about the extent of the Biden administration to suppress free speech.  When you have only ONE source (the Democrat administration in this case) as the sole arbiter of what constitutes "disinformation." you have a totalitarian political atmosphere.
