1) Ryan has a record of very extreme economic and social views; none of you needs to see me outline them; you know what they are by now very well. 2) The Ryan selection really electrified the Republican base, but when you run for VP on the ticket in the general you are under a microscope writ large with a 24 hour media cycle and social media cycle and everything you've ever done, written, or voted for is going to be examined by thousands of people with experience doing that. (Although having said that, the media has missed covering a lot of important issues that both parties avoided (and you know what those are--I can be quick to list them if anyone wanted). 3) Ryan has been under deep wraps from the getgo; I remember the first few days video of Ryan being hit with hard questions on the plane and Dan Senor quickly grabbing him and ushering him out of reach of reporters; it was in that moment that Senor knew Ryan was a huge mistake. 4) I can pretty much tell you where Romney has gone day to day for the last 3 weeks without looking it up; but I can't begin to tell you where Ryan has been. Sure it's available on the web, but it's not showcased because he's been hidden on purpose from the media spot light. 5) When Ryan has spoken out and it's been picked up by networks and cable (I don't watch Fox and frankly they are so fictional I don't care what they've ever done or will do--they don't help the Republicans like the Republicans think they do; they are ridiculed by the rest of the media and ignored unless they do something straight when for example Hume and Wallace grilled Ryan objectively--that got picked up by cable and networks quickly and was shown repeatedly.
It's liberals and union members who really have to sweat these things out. I do not rely on either government assistant nor am I limited by mob mentality.
I still believe Romney will win, but either way, like I have said before, true conservatives won a long time ago.
I will continue to enjoy the lifestyle union members and welfare recipients can only dream of. The fact is, and you know this is true, I and those who are REALLY RICH will continue regardless of who wins.
The really sad thing is watching all the liberals act like if Obama wins things are going to change. Obama won 4 years ago, and from what I can tell the playing field still remains the same.
No reason for me to throw insults or use juvenile language. A the end of the day Willy, I just feel sad for you, salon, Jeffy and the other lefties on the board. Placing so much hope on something that will not change anything you all decry.
Maybe I am misinterpreting what you said, and you may have just been pointing out. That we the tax payer put up the funds for the auto bail out.
I read that as a complaint about having to pay for the bail out. Very vaild complaint, I don't enjoy paying for it, but a complaint none the less.
I do agree with your above statement. Regarding the liberals, they don't have a candidate, and never will have a candidate.
Now for the real consevatives, or their represntatives. Can't they just win gracefully. Boehner can cut out the water works. Cantor could Man the fuck up, and Bachmann man can STFU.
What is sad for me is that all these people crying about too much spending were NO WHERE to be found when Bush was financing a war AND continuing tax cuts.
I have no problem with criticism if people could just learn to be fair and objective (re. both sides). It's the same every 4 years. When are these morons going to wake up?

is "far worse" than Bush when 99% of the world says you're full of shit and how you're more loyal to your Party than America.
