Back in 1996, George Carlin summed this up rather well. It's as true today as it was back then, if not more so.

what's that old cliche?

"if voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal". this is why we need a direct democracy to keep a check on our representative democracy.

I'm not sure I believe that voting does any good! If your not sure who you are putting into office?? It seem's like they are all the same?
