when he speaks about The Truth, and by contrast, the dangers of Moral Relativism,  or as Bush said it, "a dictatorship of moral relativism".

That as a society we must have both faith AND reason.

Or faith that most of the Republicans in DC would show up if they were drafted?   And not get us into too many wars that they weren't willing to fight, personally?

Dictatorship of moral relativism, my ass.  This is from a fellow who refuses to release records that would show where he was when he was supposed to be on duty, forgets that he was arrested & convicted DUI, and that's before he gets us into a war he absolutely and steadfastly refuses to plan for.   The rules are for the little people - Bush would  be the first to tell you, and the Pope would be the 2nd.

What we have, is an oligarchy of mendacious mercenary morons.    But that seems to be what we deserve, eh, Harry?

That in spite of the contradictions you point out, that our hope is to have faith in God - this is a religion AND politics forum afterall .

And that acts of terrorism like flying planes into our buildings should not be committed in the name of God.

That we must seek the healing that can only be found in The Truth , The Way, and The Life.

Well, shit, why didn't they do that at the beginning?  Sounds to me like that makes everything even, you know?  If the Pope can't get his boys off, how do you think he's gonna get YOU off?!

Says here it took him 25 minutes, and I guess he thinks that gets 4,000 priests off.  

So what do you suppose they're hoping?  That they can just act like assholes and nobody will notice?   I mean, I'm not talking about 4,000 pedophiles, I'm talking about the organization that methodically hid them for years.

And to say nothing of those weird-ass wardrobes, and weird-ass theology.  And don't get me started on no Mormons, nor Baptists, nor fucking Episcopalians, and as far as the Muslims go, I'd rather we saved our ammo and let them shoot each other.

The healing that must be had can only come from God. As you astutely point out it is not a debt that they can repay or that “makes evrything even".

Thier HOPE can only be in God, specifically in Jesus Christ.
