Some Brits are celebrating Margaret Thatcher's death...

"Ding Dong The Witch is Dead" has zoomed to the top of the charts.  Obits immediately after her death were critical of her, rather than waiting a respectful period of time.  There have even been public parties celebrating her death, although the turnout was less than anticipated.

I don't remember Americans displaying this type of behavior after Ronald Reagan died.  Brits are supposed to have good manners, especially compared to the "colonists."  Toto, we're not in Downton Abbey anymore.

it's nothing compared to what some Brits give to their pols, and they never forget and the seldom forgive. I've got a friend from there, and he's filled me in on how brutal and ruthless they can be when it comes the dragging their pols thru the mud. After all, it's one of Rupert Murdock's original stomping grounds, and he just loves to give the plebeins (the commoner) the raw meat of the Royalty and politicians (the patricians). His wiring tapping scandal was just one means of doing that.

I would love to see some of our politicians, both Repubs/Dems, get raked and skewered regularly by the msm.
