We might end up with a commander in chief who could not pass a background check for a security clearance to enter a defense industry facility.  According to Homeland Security Obama’s background would disqualify him for a top security clearance.  He might be cleared for a low level security clearance for hauling containers out of a harbor, but that’s about it.  What the fucking is happening to this country?

Just untested people.

Elected officials are not required to have security clearances.  Virtually anyone can be elected to public office.

I'm still waiting to read the reliable source that divulged the result of a security clearance check on Obama;  And no, out of your ass doesn't count.

Senators aren't entrusted with dozens of national secrets.  Are you kidding me?  I will refrain from inserting my personal experiences on this issue, but I will proclaim that you are so massively ignorant of the relevant facts that your words ring hollow in my ears.

I just went through one, got thru but it is pretty intense. Not a security clearance but to consult for a Civilian Federal Agency.

We should have Background checks for Congressman, Senators, PoTUS. Why not? Everyone else who wants to work for the Federal Government must have one.
