Hanity said so. So,,,,, can we remove the word democrat from the dictionary yet! And Hanity's an entertainer who knows if he's really in the know about this.

Waiting to celebrate just knowing he's only gonna be a one term Pres.

Octavia, they said the same thing about the GOP 2 years ago------Frankly, I'd be happy if the words " Republican" & "Democrat" were removed from the dictionary, as would many of the posters here.

What stupid partisan bullshit.

OctaviaNyc_NJ,
"Waiting to celebrate just knowing he's only gonna be a one term Pres."

If the GOP wins big today that will give Obama a almost guarantee of re election.
Other than  a few million  frieks, most of this country does not desire a dictatorship, or one Party holding all the cards.
I don't look at this as a big loss against Obama. If the GOP wins big IMO its a vote against the Pelosi, Reid, Frank, type politicians, who ram bills through with attachments, without debating or reading them.

Even if Hanitty is to be believed and the GOP cruises to a landslide victory today, that by no means fortells an Obama loss in 2012.

It may however force Obama to shift a little more towards center, ala Bill Clinton and make him learn how to deal with a minority or at least split control of the Congress. His ability to adapt will determine whether or not he gets a second term.

Personally I wouldn't mind if the Dems end up with either a slight majority or slight minority in Congress, as long as neither side has a clear majority, that's the best those of us in the middle can hope for.

"can we remove the word democrat from the dictionary yet!" What would you replace it with? Or, do you want a one party system like North Korea? Or, a system where there is more than one party, but only one party is allowed to win elections, like in Iran?

bet on Obama moving to the center. Not unless Clinton gets in Obama's face and convinces him that's his only option for survival. I'd have a better chance of taking the Cowboys over the Packers this weekend, but I ain't that stupid.

I'm more worried about the Feds's QE 2 statement tomorrow. Beyond debasing the dollar even more, they are trying to engineer a certain level of inflation and convince people it's better to buy now vs later. I'm no expert, but I just can't see it working, and I can't see unemployment dropping.

Ben's friends the Europeans are in worse shape than us and "our friends" the Chinese are finding themselves forced to let their currency trade up, or be left with no one solvent enough to buy their products.

No, even though I do take long shots every once in a while, like eschewing the 7 1/2 points in the Baylor/UT game on Saturday and taking +260 instead. I wouldn't bet a nickel of WW's pension on Obama embracing pragmatism. lol

I hate to admit this, but a weaker dollar doesn't bother me a bit. It pushes up oil prices  and encourages foreign investment into American Oil. Call me selfish, but if it costs me a few extra bucks to travel abroad, but I make an extra twenty million in the process, I can live with the results. lol
