Another disaster for Trump: McMaster's new book shows "the Emperor has no clothes."

Here are a few take-aways from the Times' read of the book:
"McMaster shows Trump to have been an unpredictable waffler who undermined himself to the advantage of his competitors on the world stage."
"in the Great Hall of the People, the president strayed from his talking points. He agreed with Xi that military exercises in South Korea were “provocative” and a “waste of money” and suggested that China might have a legitimate claim to Japan’s Senkaku Islands. McMaster, his stomach sinking, passed a note to Gen. John Kelly, the chief of staff: Xi “ate our lunch,” it read."
"The general shows how, despite his best efforts to help the president, the supposed master of the “art of the deal” was treated like a “chump” by a roster of the world’s top authoritarians."
McMaster criticized "the president’s deputies who hurled “accusations of disloyalty” in their efforts to reach Trump’s ear. In tale after tale, McMaster shows how the former president allowed his own prejudices and the petty rivalries within his administration to undermine his policy goals in what McMaster terms a “vortex of vitriol.” Trump’s “indiscipline,” he writes, “made him the antagonist in his own story.”
"McMaster even traces President Biden’s signature foreign policy failure, the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021, to the “atmosphere of inconsistency” promulgated by Trump. What’s more, with the 2024 presidential election in sight, McMaster questions whether the 78-year-old Trump can still “perform well the sometimes grueling job of president.” He notes that the 13-day trip to Asia “tired” him and stretched his patience — and that was seven years ago."

And I don’t think you know a damn thing about it. I’ll help you out here. He is just another in a very long string of people that Trump hired who believe he should never be near the White House again. You know, people that know him best. As opposed to a guy like Mark Zuckerberg.

All he had to do was Google the guy and he wouldn't have looked so stupid. I keep telling these Repubtards to do some research and read. But like Trump, they are terrible about taking advice.

he's just lazy. Like his idol. He continually asks questions that make him look ignorant when he could get the answer in two minutes.
Then again, if he wasn't so lazy he wouldn't be working at a no-show gubmint job. Wanker is dialing it in.

Willy knows who McMaster is. Willy's just being a condescending provocateur.

Here is something that might help, even if it is only a little bit, but at your age every little bit helps

He was only Trump's National Security Advisor in 2017 and 2018.
From Wiki:
"Herbert Raymond McMaster (born July 24, 1962) is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who served as the 25th United States National Security Advisor from 2017 to 2018. He is also known for his roles in the Gulf War, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom."
Interviewed yesterday on CNN, he said: Trump "had made a decision in 2017 to maintain a US presence in Afghanistan, but that Trump then changed his mind. The Trump administration ultimately entered into an agreement with the Taliban requiring US troops to withdraw from the country by May 2021. President Joe Biden, after he took office, pushed that withdrawal date back to August.
“He couldn’t stick with the decision,” McMaster, who served as Trump’s national security adviser from early 2017 until April 2018, said on “AC 360.” “He didn’t stick with the decision. And I think people were in his ear and manipulated him with these mantras: ‘End the endless wars’ and ‘Afghanistan is a graveyard of empires’ and so forth.”
Asked by Cooper if Trump bears some responsibility for the heavily criticized withdrawal during the Biden administration, McMaster responded, “Oh, yes.”
Just one more in a long line of people who served under Trump who now feel he should never be re-elected.
Wanker really must ask himself why nothing like this has ever happened before.

Some Derp Stater who’s pissed Trump didn’t start another war in the Middle East so some DOD contractor can give him a million dollar do nothing job? Wow. IMAGINE MY SHOCK.

Another on the long list of those Trump trusted and gave a position to, who later realized how toxic and stupid Trump is and openly shared it with the world.

So what you are saying, since you defend all things Trump, is that Trump is just a very bad judge of character and all of these people were bad seeds from the start. And, you want this person who is a bad, I mean like a terriblely bad, judge of character to run our country for another four years.

Before you argue, because I know you will, understand this: You can't have it both ways. Either these are smart people who are correct about Trump or Trump and his team absolutely suck at surrounding themselves with good wholesome loyal people, aka they make very bad decisions.

Among MANY other things, according to Wiki, "McMaster graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1984 and earned a Ph.D. in American history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996. His dissertation was critical of American strategy and military leadership during the Vietnam War and served as the basis for his book Dereliction of Duty, was a NYT Bestseller and is widely read in the United States military.[3] During the Gulf War, then Captain McMaster commanded Eagle Troop, 2nd Cavalry Regiment in the Battle of 73 Easting."

Just people who are looking to get out and work a no-show job at Northrop Grumman or Raytheon or Lockheed Martin getting paid millions in exchange for starting another war in the Middle East. Trump wouldn’t go to war in Iran and these people have hated him ever since.

Willy finally saying the quiet stuff out loud. Kamala could make a great TV ad just off your statements!

during his first term in two parts . . . .

1.  He believed people in the Washington establishment that said they would follow his policies, and

2.   He worried about ruffling too many deep state feathers because he didn't want to seem too extreme while running for re-election.  He should have drained the swamp like he promised.  Figuratively speaking, heads should have rolled.
