The cashless bail system is the biggest joke out there.

I know there are bail bonds people that take advantage of some.   But guess what... .DONT FUCK UP.   Take responsibility.

According to the cited article, "The murderer, who was later arrested and held without bond, was career criminal Decarlos Brown Jr., a 34-year-old diagnosed with schizophrenia."
.
I know the point I want to make about deinstitutionalization. Rather than pick one or two of dozens of relevant articles, I will defer to an AI Overview:
.
"As governor [of CA], Reagan took significant steps to reduce the institutionalized population in California.
o Lanterman-Petris-Short Act of 1967: Reagan signed this law, which ended the practice of involuntarily hospitalizing patients for indefinite amounts of time. The act made it much more difficult to commit individuals for psychiatric treatment against their will, a move that was praised by mental health reformers but that also coincided with a drastic reduction of California's state hospital population.
.
During his presidency, Reagan’s policies dramatically changed the landscape of mental health care in the United States by cutting federal funding and shifting responsibility to the states.
o Repeal of the Mental Health Systems Act: In 1980, President Jimmy Carter signed the Mental Health Systems Act, which aimed to improve community-based mental health services and fund crisis intervention. One year later, Reagan signed the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981, which repealed most of Carter's legislation.
o Block grants and budget cuts: The 1981 act replaced direct federal funding for mental health services with block grants to the states. While this gave states more flexibility, the overall federal spending on mental health was significantly reduced. As a result, many community health centers faced drastic budget cuts or closed entirely.
.
Critical failure: **Without** the robust, federally funded community mental health centers envisioned by earlier programs, the shift of mental health care to the states resulted in a critical gap in services. The outcome of this underfunding was a rise in homelessness and incarceration for people with severe mental illnesses, who lacked access to the care they needed."
.
So are the Reps blaming Reagan's woke agenda for deinstitutionalization? Or maybe the fault rests on the woketard Republican NC State legislators for refusing to fund state efforts? Nope. ... It's got to be Biden's fault.
.
This murderer should have been in prison or a mental institution or, at the least, have been monitored and on meds in a community health care facility. Woketard Republicans refuse to provide funding.

....arrested multiple times.  Enjoy his 14 mugshots you bleeding heart morons.

Bleeding heart dems have made no cash bail and defunding police a cornerstone of their whole being.  Also, AI will tell you that a man can have a baby.

Re:  Also, AI will tell you that a man can have a baby.
What prompt did you use, or did you just accept some talking head's statement at face value? I asked MS Co-pilot, "Can a man have a baby?", and here is its response:
-  - -
"Cisgender man—someone assigned male at birth who identifies and lives as a man—cannot become pregnant because he lacks the reproductive organs (a uterus and ovaries) necessary to conceive and carry a fetus.
- - -
Transgender men or non-binary individuals who were assigned female at birth and still have a functioning uterus and ovaries can become pregnant if they choose. Many pause testosterone therapy to restore ovulation and menstrual cycles before attempting conception, and pregnancy follows the same biological processes as for cisgender women."
- - -
Bottom line is you didn't bother to check the facts/details.

"Yes, some men can have babies, particularly transgender men who retain their uterus and ovaries and can carry a pregnancy. Cisgender men cannot become pregnant, but advances in reproductive technology may expand possibilities in the future."

YES, SOME MEN CAN HAVE BABIES...the first 6 words, followed up by "particularly" meaning there are other men that supposedly have babies as well.  It's fucking late but I'll return and spend 5 minutes arguing with AI and show you proof of  the latter part of the discussion where AI will actually admit that men cannot have babies.
