It isn't just trump anymore. He has convinced virtually all of MAGA, and many other republicans, that elections he doesn't win are rigged and replete with voter fraud. That's a huge problem for our country. That leads to not accepting the results of elections you lose and no more peaceful transfer of power. That's the end of democracy. Trump wants to destroy our institutions so citizens have no faith in government and gravitate to a strongman authoritarian like him. As a country we need to accept that our elections are secure and accurate because they are. Yours is a solution in search of a problem. As long as you and others think that voters you don't know are "fishy", the real problems facing our country go unaddressed and right-wing paranoia is exacerbated.
That's on top of the nearly $800 million Dominion got from Fox for its election lies. So how many of you righties still think the 2020 election was "stolen?"
Dominion had no part in it. I believe their machines accurately counted the ballots, but there is no evidence that every ballot that was counted was cast by a person whose ID was verified, so that is what keeps the question of stolen/not-stolen alive.
All this proves is that Dominions machines counted correctly. That is it.
Now the issues of ballot stuffing, ballot harvesting, destroyed ballots, etc. Could still be in question for many. There are more and more stories of things coming out and whistle blowers.
My honest take on this. Trump lost. Do I think mail in ballots and things like that lead to fraud happening.... YES. What happened in 2020 with the "mail in" ballots was something we as a nation never had seen before. All because of Covid. Did people do some shady things.... YEP. It has already been proven. On a grand scale no. But some small stuff people got caught back in 2020 and 2021. It was republicans and democrats. But does that show we need to do things to bring integrity back to our elections.... YES.
