17% of the funding will remain because it is Bonafide humanitarian aid.  83% will be eliminated as it falls into the waste, fraud and abuse category.  No announcement yet whether the funding will be channeled through other agencies or whether a mini-version of USAID will be opened to dispense the funding.  

 
As DOGE works its way through the other Federal agencies, we are likely to see a similar result.  Musk said his original estimate of one trillion in waste, fraud and abuse may be too low.
