my question now is..can the Republican party EVER have a chance to win a presidential election again? ..considering the changing demographics in this country {latinos..young mothers..working women..blue collar}..i must say i seriously doubt it no matter who they run..unless the can raise Reagan from the dead..they are now a dinosaur when it involves the Oval Office..

THE LIBERTARIANS to the rescue.

Premise being:

As long as you don't hurt anybody or anybody's property,  it is not the governments business what you do,  the governments business is to protect our boundaries and get our fiscal house in order by shrinking government.  YIPPEE

They could be for clean natural foods. The GOP could come out in favor of marijuana. They could support everything natural, and maintain their pro life agenda as well.

The truth is the GOP is against everything nature.

The popular vote was fairly close.

I agree there need to be some changes, but they are not without a large following.  The total vote difference was within 2%.

As of 2:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Obama has widened his popular vote lead. He now leads 60,193,076 or 50.4% to 57,468,587 or 48.1% with nearly all precincts reporting.

we have passed the point to now where more people vote to get stuff from the government than vote to keep the government off their backs.

However, this is like being promoted to Captain on the Titanic 30 minutes after it hit the iceberg.

Yeah, I know everyone is going to say I am a right wing radical for saying this, but when I asked earlier how we were NOT going the way of Greece, no one could answer. Laffy mentioned the income gap, but no solutions. Willy wanted to tax the rich, even though he admitted it did not solve the problem.

The question still remains, HOW DOES A COUNTRY SURVIVE WHEN 50% OF ITS POPULATION GETS MORE THAN IT CONTRIBUTES. In the short term I can tell you how they do it, they borrow money.

So, I am still waiting for SOMEONE on the left to REALLY EXPLAIN how you fix this.

It's supporters think anarchy is a way to govern.  But it does not work.
Sooner or later people will demand rules to bring order to society.
