well, if it was deliberately darkened, that's obviously dirty pool indeed. and everything about hilary tells you she would not scruple for even a billionth of a nanosecond if she thought there was an advantage to be gained.
but lookit this way -- the darker Obama appears, the more 'authentically black' he appears to the Race Men in the African-American community.
there are all sorts of explanations for this, most having to do with human ineptitude, mechical process error, and the fact that the two images are not the same. the real test is to find the original source image and compare it to the HRC reporoduction.
But my $$ is still on HRC trickery.

Some liberal blogs are questioning whether in Hillary Clinton's new TV ad attacking Barack Obama for not holding any subcommittee hearings on Afghanistan, he has been given the same treatment TIME magazine once infamously gave OJ Simpson -- his skin being made artificially darker

tragically, I would vote for Hillary...
as McCain just scares me on a level equal to the fear that Obama creates in me... and oddly enough... for the same reasons... I think that McCain and Obamma are too close on both foreign affairs AND domestic issues.... for there to be a real difference between them... and I just don't think that either of those care about the committments to this country (not that Hillary does... but at least she is less likely to mess in the place she lives...).... just not good choices.

I was thinking the KKK types would be less likely to bump off Obama if Clinton was VP. Sort of like GB the First having Dan Quayle as VP.
the KKK would be the least of Obama's worries. Can you imagine having a power mad bitch like her waiting in the wings knowing that if an "accident" were to befall you, she would become president. I wouldn't wish that on anybody, not even Obama.
Of course, by the same token I wouldn't wish either one of them on the country either.
variations - I think this is a non-issue. The photo on the left could easily be under incandescent light, and the right under flourescent.

Considering the fact that he has no substance, I guess the darkness of his skin pigment is problably the most relevant quetion being asked about his fitness to be POTUS.
I guess the next question for Hillary will be whether she is feminine enough or is she too femenine?

It was a Daily Kook (er, Kos) that was quoted. It's lib bloggers making the noise. If it wasn't this it would be something else. There IS something else about to hit Obama, either orchestrated by or for The Clintons.
