Trump's tariffs. 100-200% why would they good for us?

Kinda curious how this will be a good thing. But let me give you some general numbers to help you along. Then tell me if you've had experiences with tariffs and how were they handled.
USA MIN Wage- $7.25 but  its based on where you live, could be $13-16. Red states till used the Federal Min wage as their state wage. But these numbers are conservatives as it be be anywhere from $18-20 (machinist, technicians will command more)
China Min Wage- $2.00 -$4.00
Mexico Min Wage- $6.00-$8.00
Materials if sourced in
China- 60% less if sourced in USA
Mexico-20% less if sourced in USA
So this is the basics, so pitch me. I'm a company how can I maintain and keep my price structure?

To protect domestic industry and discourage other countries from doing things we don’t like in a peaceful manner.

But not if you impose 100% to 200% tariffs and start an international trade war.

with the US will lose, because there are fewer things that have to be sourced in other countries because they are NOT available here.  if the price of foreign-sourced products equals that of the same products made in the USA, it's a win for the American workers.  Companies can still be competitive while charging a higher price for their products, which in turn allows them to pay a higher wage to their workers.

since Biden has been in office, while prices have gone up over 20%.  The reason Trump will win is because he has ALREADY DEMONSTRATED he knows how to increase wages for American workers.  He will only be able to bring prices down about half of what they were when he left office, so the other way to get the good life back for most Americans is to add policy that increases wages.  Wages up + prices down will make it feel like 2019 again, and Trump will deliver the policies to make this happen.

Your numbers are bullshit.
From the Bureau of Labor Statistics:
"Real average hourly earnings increased 1.3 percent, seasonally adjusted, from August 2023 to August 2024. The change in real average hourly earnings combined with a decrease of 0.3 percent in the average workweek resulted in a 0.9-percent increase in real average weekly earnings over this period."
CDL hates facts. So he makes up his own.

of my statement.  I said, "While Biden was President . . . ."   You changed it to "2023-2024."  That's intellectually dishonest, but I realize it's all you've got.

Because Biden and the economy first had to recover from Trump's mis-handling of the economy during Covid. I notice you didn't really argue the point that the '23-'24 numbers are valid. So I accept your surrender.

intellectual dishonesty is not what I expected, but it's the only way Biden can eke out a number on the plus side.  If you count all four years, working Americans got tonally fucked by the Biden economy when it comes to wage gains.   I notice you refuse to consider the full 4 years that were in my original post.  You're playing dodgeball.

Even still, a 1.3% wage increase against 3%+ inflation is still a loss for the workers.  Even when you think you win, you still lose.

So why should I accept your parameters? Considering you stretch the truth ALL the time, hearing you preach about "intellectual dishonesty" is a hoot.

Not only that....Trump handed the Biden administration the best economic situation in years only for him to fuck it up in less 6 months with a million executive orders.

On a side note, dishonesty is your middle name so "intellectual dishonesty" should be no problem from a liar like yourself.

He thinks you are a delusional,  dementia riddled political hack, and decrepit old copy cat that's DYING to be just like him because you have an insane man crush on him. He says..... sucks to be you. I'll tell him you said hello though.
But give me a minute as I am swapping over from the Carrera to the M4.

Triggering him is almost boring.
GaGambler was on his way to dinner when our call ended so he never took SPOAT's call.
Just one more lie from The SPOAT.
PS: I had an M5, sucker.
PPS: SPOAT "liked" his own post.

We talked earlier dumb ass. You are SO easy to trigger! 🤣🤣
The M4 is sportier than the M5. But you wouldn't know, you don't have either one.

His tariffs in 2018.2019 were mild and really not that all effective but these....no bueno

"Companies can still be competitive while charging a higher price for their products, which in turn allows them to pay a higher wage to their workers."....didn't we try this with trickle down economic? Sure labor "might" get the crumbs but companies will relish the profits.  I don't get your logic. We can really be cut off from the world economy that China will reclaim it's spot as the world's economy while we're stuck in neutral.
Trust me, large corporation are nervous with these proposed tariffs, regardless of any deregulation trump does
But are in the favor of a 100-200 % tariffs?

Those of you who are now concerned that tariffs are paid for by the consumer -- are you willing to reconsider who pays for taxes on businesses and who pays for high union wages?

Chart guy like you surely would have some chart somewhere on how tariffs, especially those in tbe 60,100 and 200 rate would affect the economy
C’mon… don’t let me down

it all gets passed through to the consumer. I don't agree because businesses must absorb some of it or crush their sales. But at least he's tacitly acknowledging that Trump is wrong when he says the foreign manufacturers pay the tariffs.
Fester is, without a doubt, the weirdest poster on this board.
