will create jobs and an improved economy.  Kamala will lose jobs and make the economy worse.  If Kamala becomes president, some of our retired members here may have to go back to work, because the money they have put away for retirement isn't going to be worth shit.  Every dollar they had in 2021 is not worth 80 cents.  After another 20% inflation in four years the 80 cents will be worth 64 cents.  How's it going to feel to have one third of your next egg wiped out by continuing democrat incompetence?

From Nicky's article:
.
In particular, the report finds that since 1949:
.
Annual real GDP growth is 1.2 percentage points faster during Democratic administrations than Republican ones (3.79% versus 2.60%).
.
Total job growth has averaged 2.5% annually during Democratic administrations, while it is barely over 1% annually during Republican administrations. Applied to today’s total workforce, this would imply nearly 2.4 million more jobs created every year under Democratic administrations.
.
The Democratic advantage is even larger in private job growth than it is for total job growth. Notably, business investment is higher during Democratic administrations, with investment growth running at more than double the pace than it does during Republican ones.
.
Average rates of inflation—both overall and “core” measures that exclude volatile food and energy prices—are slightly lower during Democratic administrations.
.
Families in the bottom 20% of the income distribution experience 188% faster income growth during Democratic administrations.

Muslims are so right wing that they throw gays off roof tops. You think importing Muslims is going to help Democrats? Think again. Keep importing Muslims and see how fast that not only do gays go back in the closet, but Jews will be too.

the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. Which occurred on Dubya's watch. Just as the Great Depression started under Hoover. Both Republicans.

You said Democrats had better economies. I went back a quarter century and showed that the Republican admins had better average economies. In fact Obama's was pathetic going all the way back to Gerald Ford a half century ago.

If you want to argue that the economy of Andrew Jackson is relevant, have at it.

Fester proved nothing. As I already pointed out.  But Fester is too dim to comprehend he's already been stuffed. Andrew Jackson is a classic diversion.
Fester is a fool who understands nothing. Except how to make a fool of himself.

Instead of using your copy of Forbes magazine to swat flies or to wipe your ass, try READING it first.
.
http://www.forbes.com/sites/alisondurkee/2024/09/10/will-trumps-tariffs-raise-prices-what-to-know-as-kamala-harris-slams-policy-at-debate/
"Former President Donald Trump doubled down on his plan to raise ***tariffs*** on imported goods at Tuesday night’s debate after Vice President Kamala Harris slammed the plan and said it would raise prices—echoing the views of many economists, who believe Trump’s plan would burden everyday consumers even as the ex-president has claimed otherwise.
.
"Harris slammed Trump’s plan in a speech on Friday, saying it was “***in effect, a national sales tax*** on everyday products and basic necessities” and declaring it a “Trump tax” on basic goods—causing the ex-president to reinforce his commitment to the tariff policy over the weekend.
.
"*****Most experts say tariffs raise prices for consumers:***** The cost of tariffs can be absorbed by some combination of U.S. businesses that import goods, the customers who purchase them and foreign businesses that export them—which might lower their prices to make up for the tariffs—but *****the right-leaning Tax Foundation found previous tariffs levied during Trump’s first term were paid by U.S. businesses and consumers.*****
.
"Goldman Sachs economists led by Ronnie Walker projected prices on consumer goods would go up by 0.1% for every percentage increase in the effective tariff rate and ***raise inflation rates*** for one year, noting that in addition to the price of imported goods going up, it’s also likely the price of domestic goods would increase, because U.S. manufacturers would “opportunistically” raise their prices to take advantage of having less competition in the marketplace.
.
"Economists also broadly believe ***Trump’s proposed tariff plan would hurt the U.S. economy,*** with an analysis by the ***nonpartisan think tank***Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) concluding the proposal would “[inflict] significant collateral damage on the US economy,” citing a range of factors including ***decreased consumer spending, increasing unemployment rates and worse economic growth.***
.
"Moody’s projected Trump’s tariff plan would result in ***a reduction of 675,000 U.S. jobs*** and increase the unemployment rate by 0.4%, with Moody’s chief economist Mark Zandi telling CNN, *****“If Trump increases tariffs as he has proposed, the economy would likely suffer a recession soon thereafter.”*****
.
Or did you forget to add an "LOL" when you wrote every claim backwards (Trump and Harris switched)?

Does that mean, as a retired poster here, you are okay losing one third of the value of your money by the time another four years has passed?  Harris economic policy is going to be Bidenomics on steroids.
