While certainly not a McCain supporter and as someone who believes the Palin pick was irresponsible, she deserves a break with this one.  The VP does have to look the part and the RNC paid for the clothing so this doesn't impact the taxpayer.

However, she is trying to sell herself as the hockey mom from small town America.  It certainly doesn't help the image she's trying to sell.

There are more important issues to debate.

You should see Ms. "Pig-Lips" Palin in her fancy corset & fishnets the RNC paid for, Oh My!! No "regular" MILF can do justice to her outfit.

She is such a champ, especially when she takes me up her ass! I'd like to see some tight-assed Democrat babe do that!!

Michelle Obama was wearing a over $900 dress I read when she did the famous fist bump :)

Micheelle be acting like she is a regular hip ghetto gal .You do not think her salary at the hospital paid for that dress do you :)
I am not saying you she could  not afford it but come on do y'all not think friends of the DEM party paid for it :)

and think of all the newspapers, magazines, scholary journals, books etc... Governor Palin could have subscribed to and purchase [maybe even read?] with just a fraction of tha $150K.

Xrist, for no money she could log into TER and read our prize-winning comments.

Still, i'm always a fatal sucker for high heels and SP does hold grat appeal to me there - hands down the best candidate, at leat between the soles of her feet and the top of her ankles.  It's a start.
