Gary Gygax, 'Father of D&D,' Dies at 69

Gary Gygax, one of the co-creators of the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, died Tuesday morning at his home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, according to Stephen Chenault, CEO of Troll Lord Games.

Gygax designed the original D&D game with Dave Arneson in 1974, and went on to create the Dangerous Journeys and Lejendary Adventure RPGs, as well as a number of board games. He also wrote several fantasy novels.

Jack0 and Bizzarosuperdude... in an odd twist of fate, both were on a flight from Boston to Los Angeles and were seated next to each other on the plane... each took out and fired up their laptop and to their horror realized who they were sitting next to as they awaited the plane's departure...

Upon arrival in LA, there was a 12 hour delay in providing a gate to the plane making it necessary for the two to continue to sit next to each other...  due to a shortage of fuel to run the plane's air conditioning.. (caused by the prohibition of off shore drilling off the coast of CA) and unusually hot March weather in LA (brought about by Al Gore as he continually spews out copious quantaties of carbon dioxide as he jets about receiving yet another award for creating global warming - much as he created the internet).  Jack0 and BSD initially were reported to be somewhat polite to each other.  How the verbal assault started is still a mystery - however, it seems that according to their phone records they were doing an unsual amount of text messaging....   somehow, both phones exploded and instantly vaporized both passengers... mercifully no one else was injured - however the passengers were not allowed to deplane... and were forced to inhale the smoke from the explosion...

Several passengers are now suing the airlines for what they have noticed is an increased skeptical view of the world, arguing with themselves and an unusual tendency to use lots of words.....

or so I am told.
