Just 200 years ago it was legal to buy and sell human beings in the US. We still buy and sell animals here. I eat animals so from my point of view they have the same status as grass. I have issues with people who do violence for pleasure. I don't like loud noises. I don't like to see unnecessary suffering. Our laws are such that in order to prosecute those that commit acts of violence there has to be a victim. For example; lets say I buy myself a live goat, I torture the goat for a few hours then I skin it alive gut it and cook it over an open fire. After that I eat the roasted goat. My question is: Is the goat a victim?
