"I just want the American people to know I did my duty that day, President Trump was WRONG in saying that I had some right to overturn the election. That's completely false. He continues to repeat it. His allies in the media continue to repeat it and I'm not going to stand for it. It's not a belief. It's the law and the history of this country." Pence is finally growing a pair of balls. Better late than never.
upcoming August GOP debate. Let's see how he does. There are two camps represented, those that thing they can win by attacking Trump and those that are not going to directly attack Trump. Pence is going to try to ride the fence, a losing strategy in my opinion. Let's see what Pence's poll numbers are a week after the debate.
Surely, at some point you guys should be able to count them. Remember how Russia rigged the election? You know, the previous one? Remember how that turned out not to be true, even though you guys insisted that it was. Remember that one where Putin was paying a bounty for US soldiers killed in Afghanistan? Remember how that turnout out not to be true? Remember how Trump was interfering in an election because he made a phone call about a prosecutor in Ukraine? Turns out Biden bragged about getting a Ukrainian prosecutor fired so his kid could collect bribes. Remember how Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation? And it turned out that it wasn't and the laptop was real? Remember how Covid came from a wet market and it was just a ridiculous conspiracy theory that it came from a lab, even though now the lab is wildly acknowledged as the most likely source for Covid? Remember how Trump rallies were super spreader events, but BLM burning down the entire country wasn't? Remember how the Covid vaccine was something everyone needed to get, when that made no sense, and never did, and should have been solely researched for the elderly and those with compromised health? Remember how the Covid vaccine didn't cause myocarditis, but then as it turns out, it did? Remember how getting the vaccine would keep it from spreading, but it didn't? Remember when Trump shut down international flights Pelosi called it racist and then tried to tell everyone to go down to Chinatown and eat Chinese food? Remember how Fauci insisted that they weren't doing gain of function research but as it turns out they were?
I'm sure if we put our heads to it, we could think of many more examples. But what I really remember is that all the people who got all these things dead wrong called the people who got these things right "crazy conspiracy theorists". And these very same people now want to tell me that absolutely no shenannigans happened in the 2020 election. Just the 2016 election. Russian shenannigans. c'mon folks. are you really telling me that you're STILL not connecting some of these dots? oh, and for the record. Masks don't work, but ivermectin does, and it always did.
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/mike-pence-announces-challenging-donald-trump-2024-presidential/story?id=99865841 "Mike Pence, kicking off 2024 campaign, suggests Trump can 'never' be president again" (June 7, 2023) . "... "The American people deserve to know that on that day, President Trump also demanded that I choose between him and the Constitution. Now, voters will be faced with the same choice. I chose the Constitution and I always will," Pence said, later noting how his son, a Marine, has sometimes reminded him they both made the same pledge as public servants. . ***** Without naming Trump specifically, Pence said that "anyone that puts themselves over the Constitution should never be president of the United States. And anyone who asked someone else to put them over the Constitution should never be president of the United States again." ***** " . Whatever Pence says during the debate might be interesting but I am more interested in what Pence says on the witness stand in Federal Court.

…came when he was getting interviewed by Tucker. Tucker asked him if we should still be giving so much money to Ukraine when US cities are falling apart. Tucker then went on to give examples of how the cities are falling apart. Pence responded that he didn’t care about all that and that we need to give more money to Ukraine.
I highly doubt that the DoJ attorneys will ask Pence for his opinions on the war in Ukraine or on US support for Ukraine but Trump's attorneys might try to ask Pence about that on their cross examination. . Pence might reply that Tucker, despite knowing that it was false, was a major Fox proponent of The Big Lie. That then led to what happened at The Capitol on Jan 6 and also led to a $787 billion settlement with Dominion.

Another rhetorical question. He only said Hurd is a valuable truth-teller, like Christy and a few others. If he's on the debate state he's capable of damaging Trump. That's worth funding.
