you should be getting the info this week... the limo's will be making pickups at the Venetian and Mandalay Bay, or meet us directly outside Scores to go in under the VIP umbrella we've arranged.

TO BE OVER ! ! !

I live in a Illinois border city so I have been TOTALLY inundated with campaign ads through almost every media form. At least my USPS mail box has somewhat escaped. Even a political junkie like me is weary. It IS worse than the general election.

One bright note. I’ll then only be three days away from my (nearly) annual 10 day crusade to Vegas and this trip’s schedule looks to be the best ever. Be there soon.

How did Iowa end up being such an important state?  I know it has caucuses and it’s the first state to have a unique form of a primary, but why Iowa?  It’s not representative of the diverse American population.  Another question:  Why do the political parties get so upset when a state moves their primary closer to the first primaries?  I think it would be better to do away with the Iowa caucuses and have all the primaries on the same day.  Only the two presidential candidates would campaign after the primaries.  We might be able to get some straight answers if only the two final candidates debated. My next question:  Why do we still have political conventions if the candidates have already been decided in primaries?  To my knowledge, candidates aren’t drafted at the conventions anymore.

Why Iowa? I couldn't care less where as long as it's at least 3 states removed from where I live.

As to your personal bias, why not Iowa? Let me guess. You live in a left or right coast state, that just HAS to have better "fill in the blank" than anywhere else.

Our entire election system is full of absurdities like the Iowa Caucus or the Conventions, which are absurdities right now-- it's known as decay.

The strange thing, though, is that any point the Caucuses, the primaries or the Conventions can suddenly take on a lot of importance.

that does what the media tells them to do or goes along with what they say is inevitable.

Iowa decides NOTHING. Or maybe you mean like the way they decided that Howard Dean was going to be the democrat candiate four years ago?

I'm not a sheep, but in any election, I'm a flea. I'm not responsible for the side of the scale to which the other fleas jump.

As we all know, sheep don't jump.

that reminds me... RWU, are you in on the Friday night Scores invasion?

I heard about it on the phone. I certainly do plan to participate. I just need the details as to where the starting line is located and when the starting gun will be fired.

Really? Thanks for the further clarification.

Gosh, I've never had anyone "FEEL" my motives or intentions before.

Kinda creepy.
