Romney doesn't relate to people and their suffering. People are dispensable and given the power of Presidency, how can anyone think he would improve the quality of life. REPUBLICANS caused the debt. OBAMA dealt with damage control and commend him for some of the unpopular choices he had to make. Can you imagine anyone having to follow George Bush and the state of affairs America was in?
China has prospered but the people are dealing with a lifestyle no American would tolerate.

First let me say, nice to see you on the P&R board Hanna, welcome.
Financial catastrophes do not happen overnight , and I must say REPUBLICANS DID NOT CAUSE THE DEBT, the debt started on Clintons watch (don't get me wrong, I am a huge Clinton fan, in fact, he can park his shoes under my bed anytime, but facts have to be told) when he signed the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act, (deregulation of the banks) which allowed banks to do whatever they wanted. They entered in and joined forces with insurance companies. But long before that was the Community Reinvestment Act, instituted by Jimmy Carter (a democrat) Clinton decided to revise it so that the banks had to sell a certain amount each month and if they didn't they were punished. (I personally sold a number of properties this way and it one bank didn't need to do it that month because they met their quota, I just took my clients to the next bank, I sold a number of properties this way without even laying out cash, it was awesome for the short term) "The government was effectively telling banks that if they wanted to be allowed to make money off of the investments of the rich, that they had to also be lending money to the poor. Nice in theory, but look where it has gotten us. Now we are a nation with a bunch of people losing homes they never could afford, and a bunch of banks collapsing because nobody can pay them back"!
So the bubble was being blown up on Clinton's watch, life was great, until the bubble burst and we had new President in office, so he got the blame for everything.
Sometimes we have to look a little deeper, because usually situations are not are not as they appear.
