I think you have to be constantly campaigning while in office if you wish to have any chance of remaining in office. And by campaigning, I mean fundraising.

He's a shitty pres for certain, but a first class campaigner. He's already made 200 campaign/fund raiser stops. More than the previous 4 POTUS's combined. All on Air Force One. Talk about deficit spending.
