I have been wondering this for awhile. Is it time for the major players in the Democratic Party to quietly ask Joe to not run over the holidays? CNN released a poll out of Michigan today...MICHIGAN...where Trumpster Fire leads Joe by a staggering 10 points! He is down to Haley by 12. He is even losing badly to Desantis by 7 there. This is bad. And no, it isnt just this one state. Joe is losing in all of the key swing states. I saw a breakdown the other day on MSNBC that the contingent of young voters along with black and latino voters, are all trending Republican.
Do we really sit around and hope Trump is found guilty of some felony? Doesn't sound like too much of a plan. If we are going to do this, it has to be now. Back in 2020, it appeared Bernie was going to win the nomination and the polling against Trump in the general was terrible for him. What did we do? In a strategy bore out of total brilliance, Klobuchar and mayor Pete stepped aside, Joe won the nomination and we all know what happened in the general.
I like Joe. He has done a lot for the country. He is a good man who loves his country and who kept us from falling into the hands of an authoritarian in 2020. But he served his time. And I am grateful. But we cant let any personal allegiances to one man to potentially destroy our democracy. A Trump victory with him being a lame duck on day one, would be calamitous. He will burn the house down with revenge and hate for the constitution.
We can stop all that now if we act. Newsom would destroy Trump and end this Republican perceived advantage on Joe being too old. Newsom would be the adult in the room to Trump's child. I think we need to act and act now.

Newsome is not the answer. He's a slickster with California shackled to him like a festering corpse. DeSantis at least held his own against him in a debate. And who else is there? Harris? Nope. I like Klobuchar but nope.
Nobody.
And I don't know why you say it's almost too late. Why?
Because building infrastructure behind a candidate takes time. Getting qualified people to jump on your side takes time. I believe Trump will roll through the primary process unscathed and will build momentum from that. We dont want to start this process in February or March. David Axelrod said there needs to be a few uncomfortable meetings over the holidays if we want to swap out Joe and I agree.
You sound like it's Joe or no one. I couldn't disagree more. We need a shot of inspiration, hope and energy and let's be honest...thats not Joe. We are flailing with younger voters and minorities and they will be key in these battleground states. Let's give them that hope. Not months and months from now when it's too late.
The status quo just isnt cutting it. Joe isnt just losing, he is getting crushed. And In some blue/purple states which is cataclysmic. We need someone younger, more vibrant, quick on their feet that isn't shackled with the current economic woes like inflation, the inability to buy a home due to high rates, the Israel/Hamas war which is splitting our side apart and issues at the border. Are those things Joes fault? Of course not but when people are down, they want to blame someone. That someone right now is Joe, sadly.

Got us through the pandemic and got the economy going so I'm good. Pass good legislation that will be felt in years to come. I feel the country needs a fresh face, Dems and Indies they want someone new. No one wants to see a Biden/Trump rerun. But republicans..they're stuck with trump, so there's no way out.
I like Newsom. he'll energize the 2024 election. He can go toe to toe with trump, easily. He tested the water on Hannity and in his debate with Desantis. He'll get the pussy vote, even the blues hairs in Florida
I think Joe will bow out by April, I'm sure he'll check with strategist to see if and when the time is right.
He did a lot for us. Went above and beyond. It's just time now for someone else. He was the right person at exactly the right time in 2020. But he is not that person for 2024. No harm in admitting that. He served his country with honor and distinction and like I said, he kept a delusional, egotistical, narcissist out of the White House for a second term and I will always be grateful to him for that.

Stopped our energy independence
Flooded our country with illegal immigrants masquerading as asylum seekers.
Spent a veritable fuckton of money and devalued the dollar horribly
Pulled out of Afghanistan in the worst way possible
Allowed another fuckton of al-Qaeda, terrorists to escape from prison in Afghanistan as the pull out was ongoing.
Hamstrung the Marines trying to guard the pull out (got 13 of them killed)
Totally betrayed all of the afghans that worked for us
Appeared weak on the world stage practically inviting Putin to invade Ukraine
Endorsed wokeness and trans activists that are invading women’s sports.
Not to even mention his corruption
And 50 other fick ups.
And you lefties think he was juuuust great! Also you all are now ready to throw your Joe Joe the potato under the bus cause your scared he will lose the election or worse yet… die and saddle you with Kamala…
Yeah he needs to go but not just Because he’s an elder statesman who has valiantly served the nation.

Is that Biden probably stop a major recession on March of 2021. Think about it, people would have lost their homes, foreclosures and evictions probably would have been at a record pace. and what companies which survived through the initial run of PPP's would have closed. A million more could've died from Covid.
And what's sad is that the infrastructure bill that was passed, we won't see the effects of it till 2-3-4 years from now and if trump is elected, he'll take all the credit for it when he didn't do shit.
What's that saying, "Everything trump touches will die".
OK--BESIDES the old standby "he kept Trump from winning"--I would like to see a list of what the die-hard lefty supporters believe are the accomplishments of the Biden administration since he was sworn in January 2021.
